@@berylyan8846 I think she'll be very busy in Miami
She really be here explaining better than my ballet teacher 😳 I don’t complain tho thank you very much 💓
Elana is such a good dancer and you are such a good teacher as well and this video was very helpful for me and probably for everyone else who always wants to improve!🎉
Wow, I was just in my beginner class on Tuesday (thrown into the combination, haha) and had to do this- confused the HECK out of me; this is such a great breakdown, can't wait to practice these on my own! (and now I know what they're called!) I'm probably not experienced enough to do the later exercises, but the barre ones look about right for my level (3 weeks, haha) Thank you!
I like the keeping the heels together! Excellent
Omg it's like you read my mind!! This is exactly what I needed
Roses are red.🌹
Violets are blue.💐
There’s always Claudia.🌸
To teach you how to.💗
Your student is lovely! She improved so much in this lesson. For the finishing polish, I would recommend she keep both knees straight (but not too hyperextended) for the entire duration of the chainnes, and also I believe if she would think of "not travelling" on these turns it would help her keep her heels closer together. My personal preference on chainnes is to use bras bas, "tu-tu" bras bas, or Russian first for the arms, for a better balanced appearance. I feel that English or Balanchine first is a little too high in chainne. Beautiful work!
Amazing! Definitly gonna keep in mind all of your tips in today's class! Thank you!!
Her legs are longer then the time it takes me to finish my maths test lmao great vid
I love that Elena wasn't perfect and you could see how the tips helped her
Please do a video on fouettés for beginners. I’ve been trying to learn how to do them for years but I just can’t seem to get it right. Please make a video on it. Also a video on pirouettes xxx
I can't wait to try these out!! I've always struggled with chaines so much
Gorgeous as always Miss Claudia thank you for your pointers on chaîné turns!!💖
So beautiful Elena! I will use the dpotting tips, and verbal cues half half, one two...to get equal sized steps, and lead with the shoulders. I am excited to go back and watch the flat back video, and will practice with arms on shoulders too. My fav tip was how to turn right and left! Love it. ,that concept is challeging🙂 thank you!
Thank you for the tips Claudia! I love your channel and look forward to every video!
Kt- Dance love you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

Dear Claudia,
Thank you so much. Love this video 🧡💗. So much fun and great technique. I super love the idea of “left big toe & right big toe” and also “100 Chaines”. However, most ultimately like is the energy and soul of you both! ...Crystal
Elena did great work w you Miss Claudia 💕💜

Very helpful! My favorite tip was the one on the barre! Thanks!
Thanks again Claudia Dean! 💟💟💟
châinè turns...i saw this during the center works...thnks ms claudia...putting both hands on the shoulders would be the most helpful way to practice this step because it looks like it's providing a better balance while turning...thnks ms claudia this also helped me with my turnouts for the past few months
I love these tips thank you for sharing
Love it, this is exactly what I needed!!!😍❤
This is great! I have so much trouble with me left chaine turns en pointe and this will definitely help me. Thank u!
Working on chaînes en pointe!! Thank you so much!
I felt unstoppable when we practiced turns.

Thank you for the amazing tips. I loved!💕 Thanks!
Omg you just solved my chainé problems!! Thank you
She's very elegant looking!
I love ballet😛❤️💞💞
This is amazing!!! Helped me so much
You are AMAZING !!!!!!!
Can you do a video of how to get more hiperextention ???
I need it...
more extension maybe, but hyperextension is not something you can develop. You can be hyper, hypo or between the two, which is basically normal (although being hyperextended is the new normal it seems)
That was Awesome!!!!
Fyi: Prix found one of your solos at age 16 years....wow you were such a "pixie".
There was one move that required such strong ankle on up...not sure of the name but you were using only one foot flat then up onto point and you repeated it many times. Awesome!!!
Amazing video 😍 Would i be able to do these exercises en pointe as well?
So elegant beautiful dance
I like very much this video
Claudia, you help me a lot with your hacks.
Also Im from Spain. Ole, ole y ole xd. Ojala pueda conocerte algún dia

Susan Qiuge ZHANG rude
@@ebonythepoodle2191 It may be rude to you. But to a dance, that's a praise of her given gift.
Thank you very much 💖
you are amazing.
Firsttttttttttttt❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We do these in class but a very slowed down version of it and I STRUGGLE to no end it’s truly embarrassing how bad I am at these ahhh i will use these tips for sure!!
Do you find it right for the left arm to be thrown , instead of circling in to 1st ?
❤️
What leotard is she wearing? I love it! And I need it!! 💕
Avrey Hurshman It’s one of her leotards (Claudia Dean Collection - aurora leotard in liquorice, I believe).
I was wondering, can you do a video of you trying to follow along
To Matt Steffanina's BLACK PINK tutorial? I think it would be an amazing/hilarious video!
HELP what's the variation that the first piece of music is from? (chaines at the bar)
I've had a complete mindblank!
Reed Flutes from Nutcracker, I think.
Dance of the Reed pipes(?) from the nutcracker :)
Can you make a video on pencil turns
Can you please do sissones if you haven’t already
The Amazing Elena should be your permanent sidekick.
very helpful
do you teach any master classes?
In my opinion, the left arm,as girl steps onto chaine, should not whip but be more rounded, in order to avoid being thrown off center. Also, the nose, during the chaine must lower a little.
Hi
I love you
She has such beautiful legs :)
If you like knees that hyperextend like crazy and bend inwards... and anorexia-level thinness.
Is your coaching style Vaganova or Ballanchinian? You do realize that Balanchine invented ballet?
Going to guess and say Claudia's lovely style is RAD (Royal Academy of Dance, based in England?) I also love Balanchine (American, adapted by George Balanchine from the Russian style) and Vaganova (most popular Russian style). I think one of the french Kings, could it have been Louis the 14th.....hired someone to create a dance that was okay for kings, and so he invented the basic ballet positions, somewhat stolen from Italian folk dance. Maybe 400 years ago? Help me out here.....does anyone know? I think the poor guy was beheaded for saying the King was too fat to dance......the very beginning of what's known as "toxic thinness culture" - laughing right out loud now! Thinking that Russian stole it soon after that, made it their own, then George Balanchine created the American (Balanchine) style with some modernizations of the Russian style at the time.
Too fast before she grasps the basics.
Shame on this teacher.
Thank you very much for sharing the technique tips!
