Yup. I jumped off comics in the 90s too. Glad I jumped back on regularly in 2019. Lunch Money Comics is another regular RUclipsr I watch.

Great segment. Comics hold sentimental value for most of us who grew up collecting them. I have issues that hold special places too. The Bob Layton era of "Iron Man", the early Claremont "Uncanny X-men", Simonson "Thor", "Kraven's Last Hunt", "The Death of Captain Marvel"... and the list goes on and on. All these books still put a smile on my face whenever I see a cover or read one of these issues. Just so awesome. Oh, and I can't forget "Avengers: Under Siege" - such a great story with outstanding art.

Humbled by your great story for ASM 299/300 SS!! Reminds me of a similar situation in my childhood too, boost of Nostalgic just hit me when I was watching this video! Being broke, riding my bike, staring at unaffordable comics, cards, etc! Thanks for posting this video 💯👍

I can honestly say I wouldn't be doing comic RUclips had I not met you, Kat, Chris and the rest of our original cast. I only did occasional singing and vlogs before that. And your channel specifically was my inspiration for starting Only Good Comics. So again, thanks, man. Now I have to dig through my comics, which are kind of a mess since my last move! haha Stay tuned!

I loved the comics and comic cards in the 90s. But they mass produced them making most of them worthless. Makes me wonder if variants have helped cause they still producing a lot idk. I collected off and on through the years keys after high school cause back in the 90s girls didn't look at comics the same lol. Same with video games. Now they are popular. but I didn't start reading weekly runs again until dc metal event. Then started pre-ordering and reading too much lol.

Totally, Agree going back in time with pocket money to buy Comics was great and a drink and a pack of sweets
My First that got me started Was Wolverine Unleashed in 1998 Daredevil on front and .My Mother said I would have to read it myself so I started to read and asked what some words meant then I purchased a dictionary and a thesaurus and that was it from going to secondary school on the two week tester at bottom reading group to starting in the September and going to top reading group self taught reading
