    Located in northern Colorado’s beautiful Yampa Valley, Steamboat Springs is one of our favorite stops of the tour. The town sits in an absolutely beautiful setting, with rivers, lakes and geothermal hot springs complimenting the massive mountain peaks surrounding the valley. Part cowboy town, part ski/bike town, Steamboat Springs is a happening spot to visit and truly has something for the whole family.

    Steamboat Springs is one of my favorite Colorado towns. It’s really does have it all. Good people, good food, tons to do. So glad you all made the trip and video! I gotta get up there to ride, I’ve only been on the mountain in the winter!

      Yeah I've only been there a few times in the Winter and the town and people are awesome! Also has some amazing pow! Definitely want to visit in the summer

      @@Gmoney00718it’s slang for fresh snow. It’s called pow which is short for powder which is a ton of fun to surf on for skiers and snowboarders

    Cool deal, im using a bunch of your reviews to help me plan. I put it on the list. Im planning a trip for next summer. Ending at whistler. Just gotta stay in 1 piece at all these places so i can make it that far. lol.

      @TheLoamWolf  3 года назад +1

      Have fun! And yes, staying in one piece is important. There were lots of times we knew we had something, but had to weigh the benefit vs missing out on more places... Gotta be ok with riding at a comfortable 75% and you'll last a long longer.

    How long are they working on the new gondola? Will the rest of the mountain be open this year?

  • @dropthatfone

    Do you guys have a resource that you use to find camping near MTB spots? Looks like the Gondola will be closed again for 2021 :(

    • @TheLoamWolf
      @TheLoamWolf  3 года назад +1

      There is a lot of stuff to do there! Beautiful area, nice local trails, river flowing right through town.

    Could you peddle up to the black trails?

    • @TheLoamWolf
      @TheLoamWolf  5 лет назад +1

      We believe some of them are closed due to the gondola path's construction efforts. Creekside and others you can pedal too.

      There are great climbing trails that will take you as high as 10,500' (about 4,400' of climbing). Technically the upper DH trails are closed while the gondola is getting replaced this summer, but I still ride them every week
