Today Im showing you guys how I straightened my natural hair and self trim! My ends really needed to go! I am not a professional, and I definitely need a small cut, BUT I got rid of some of my unwanted split ends.

WHO KNEW before reading all of the comments that there are so many hair stylists in youtube world! LOL. You did a great job and your OBVIOUS hair length is testament to your overall hair health! Negative comments come from negative people and there's no need trying to explain or repeat anything to them.
The way you use the hair press is simply PERFECT with capitals, the blow out not so perfect, keep your hair in tension with your right hand until the ends, It will be a little more longer, but better results

One important point: Replace the comb you are using; it is damaged and could be causing split ends and other damage to your hair shaft!

The end result is still bad, you can see that from behind.
I've been also self trimming my hair for a year and it was a bit longer than yours, and I had to chop it to a bob.
Breakage would go on and on till the point of no return. Go to a hairdresser you trust to take care of those ends.
Hello, yes the end result wasn’t perfect as I said at the end of the video. I had also said this was just due to being in a lockdown. I didn’t want to trim too much before actually seeing a hairstylist once everything opened. Since this video in April I have been to a hairstylist, thanks.
