Works on bigger hook but not on smaller #8 hooks. The eyelet is smaller. There's also a much easier way to tie the finished flashabou/ tinsel on Apollo rig. 3 times faster.
But good tetorial anyway !
If you're an islander that don't have a tackle shop, you have to make it yourself.
Can use white chicken feather, green wool thread or green plastic rafia string but have to split the thread in the shape of fishtail. That's a fisherman secret. Green the fish favourite colour. No fancy stuff but it really work !

Never forget a small luminous bead. Even the flashabou is gone, the bead can still attract fish.
I just finished tying 15 sets of Apollo rigs and always added a small luminous bead.
Fishermen use white feathers, green wool thread or rafias and spread it's end into fishtail.
Always copy what fishermen do. They're pro and fished almost everyday !
And go fishing !

Kebiasaannya mata kail jenis ini kita pakai 2 atau 3 kali sahaja kerana mudah berkarat kena air masin... Selepas itu kita buang... Jadi masalah luntur tidak ada mas... Pewarna kuku itu sifatnya seperti cat mas...
