Me expresaré en castellano ..... mi edad me permite hablar en base a una experiencia de más de 25 años escuchando nuevas músicas ....antes etiquetadas como "New Age", cuando personas como Enya, Suzanne Ciani, Bel Canto, Himekami, Beautiful World, Patrick O'Hearn ó Vangelis, aglutinaban vanguardia instrumental y sensibilidad musical.
En mucho tiempo no he escuchado tanta belleza con la calidad musical que Øystein transmite su mensaje. Sólo puedo decir que desde que he conocido su trabajo se ha ganado un lugar entre los grandes y, como siempre, con el mérito adicional de unos limitados recursos pero la ilimitada voluntad de transmitir
Pertenece orgulloso a un país que ha dado una de las mejores voces femeninas contemporáneas ; Anelli Marian Drecker y si, admito que está entre los grandes en mi lista personal, que nunca coincidirá con un "billboard"
