Bro if u liked bard/karma/Janna top u should try full ap renata top with either imperial mandate or evenshroud, even Shurelyas can work too. It might not be as mobile as the others, but her ap dmg feels real nice like karma cause she has 80% ap scaling on her Q and E. Her passive will do 12%ish max hp with an ap build too. Her skills will be easier to land too than janna.

I initially thought "I can probably do this, I play mages and marksmen" and then I watched the gameplay and this guy is *insanely* good at dodging and positioning that makes these plays possible.
Well that in itself is pretty easy to do on Ahri because you have 3 dashes plus 1 for each kill or assist you get to work with

I encountered him a few times on my soloQ. He always flames and spam ping his teammates while playing on his **smurf acc**, as if the players had the obligation to play "as good as him", as if they were not from that elo. He also was banned on his main account recently.

when u present these off meta picks they always seem broken with no drawbacks, i would enjoy you also telling us why its not an actual good pick or some of the problems whe trying to make something work
He does this at the end of the video with the tier chart. A and S are as good as they sound, B is usable, C is useable if one trick and D is for crazy people.
For Ahri probably that she has no waveclear so her pushes and defending sieges are awful, and her damage in general is lacking. This is in exchange for her healing, hyper mobility, and CC
Check the AP gnar video. I only say they are really good if they actually are and I can recommend them
It's not the best at killing tanks but you won't need to most of the time. She is an adc assassin with pick-potential, low peak dps. You'd pick vayne instead if you want a tank killer.
I adapted the Urgot top strategy into mid, but instead of letal, I buy tank (gauntlet) items and it works like a charm because tanks still deals a lot of damage even with armor and magic resist items.
I remember getting Mastery 7 back when they first came out through AD on hit and support Ahri, was honestly a blast so I am glad to see someone is keeping that alive.

I'm glad this pick was covered, I've ad Ahri and LeBlanc are the two best mages you can play as ADC. Leblanc has a similar build. Leblanc works well due to kiting with your snare and having spamable dashes early makes her a safer pick pre-six. Kraken Bork has been the bread and butter for off meta ADC's since Kraken's come out.
ADC Lulu also build the same items but is weaker due to you choosing to polymorph divers or getting zoomies to dps.
I find this comment hilarious since these are the three of the four main ad mage picks I do in aram when team needs ad, asides from the very obvious ad tf
Hey do you think Lethal tempo manamune nashors tooth into AP would be good in such picks? I'm thinking Ludens for mobility, Everfrost or Crown maybe
@@elmostachojuanoh Only reason that works on Kai'sa is because her abilities have both ad and ap ratios. AP on-hit ahri definitely underperforms compared to normal AP, and even then if you do go it I think it's best you leave out the manamune.
i play both ahri and leblanc AD when the combination of statikk shiv and infinity edge is op. it easily gets me out of platinum that time

hey, how about covering some good player that plays "bad" champs? Like people who play low pick champ, regardless of the rank or lane. Just analyze the playstyle so other people can try non-meta champs more.

I feel like those videos need to be formatted as "guides" more than anything else, in that case. Seeing as it is (or at least, should be) common knowledge that you can get high elo on any champ, especially if you play in the "right" lane with the "right" build. Just doesnt seem like theres that much of a shock factor in "some dude played ryze with normal items where hes supposed to be played", even if they get challenger or smth

@@Sammy-zj6oj Gwen is strong but she isn’t good against bruiser and the currently meta champions (don’t talk about top support please). She do bad against Tryndamere, Riven, Jax, etc… She just do very good against tanks but tanks aren’t really meta for now. She has a very low WR, last time I checked she was the lowest top lane WR, even under Ryze top… So yeah, she is strong but not doing well currently tho (except if you are REALLY good with her.)
For Azir and Ryze, they are low pick regardless of lane or rank and I thought it went well with the first comment

As an off-meta bot laner who does nonsense like Vex, Zoe, and Veigar carry this makes me super happy. I am definitely doing this now!
I'm pretty sure we're are way past the point where APCs are considered "off-meta"
@@dzigayu4944 you'd be surprised how many flamingoes I get in my game who insist Veigar or any mage should not be played bot. Especially a Kindred jg who spent so much time crying about it in all chat she basically threw the ranked game because she fell behind. But it was my fault because "Mages can't be bot carry" xD
Also I don't think anyone plays Vex or Zoe outside of mid or support role unless they too are mad lads like me who like to break role norms and play them as the actual bot carry.
From some trial and error over the past few months I've sort of found mages to be much better bot than the regular marksman pick people tend to go with. Mages, and APCs in general tbh, tend to have some sort of CC, high burst, or a lot of mobility, if not a mix of all three, which a lot of regular ADC picks tend to lack. It just kinda feels like running a mage botlane feels like a safer pick in many situations. Marksman characters can still do wonders, but I have like a 90% lane winrate with lux-bard botlane with a friend of mine so I'm not really sure what the frick's going on.
@@avananana exactly! When i play mages I feel so much safer and have a better chance of winning. Marksmen it just feels so hard to carry, the feeling of having no peel, mobility, or ability to set up plays by yourself just adds to to dread.

In season 11 I actually tried playing an auto-attacker Ahri but I went Nashor's or Duskblade but I never thought to return to that idea with Kraken's. This seems very fun.

Remember to try and pick a fight while on 8 passive stacks. Then if you need health you can kill a nearby minion and then finish off the enemy for even more health

I wonder if starting dark seal for early health and wave clear + snowball potential is a better starting item than Doran's even for AD ahri.
She seems similar to when I played AD LeBlanc a few seasons back, two dashes and/or roots - unheard of for an ADC. Of course when I play in low elo, the support/team just ints when they see me go AD.
I feel like essence reaver and manamune could be really useful on her
I wonder if Ahri with Rift Maker and Nashor's tooth then AP items would be good with this play style.
This is also best if you want to try jungle ahri... Usually her ap counter part is bad at clearing the jungle monsters but with ad it's more bearable.. also ganking as ahri with her dash and charm top tier..

Megatron studies at my university and he played league against my classmate's team once on a mini championship with the freshmen. THIS DUDE IS INSANE, he absolutely destroyed the enemy team.

I played ad ahri top a lot after the last ad ahri video and it was the most fun I've had in the video game by far... But I think she fell off / didn't really have the damage I needed a lot of the time.
Maybe now, maybe with kraken Slayer > trinity?

ahri ad is fine, its not that good in high elo, if the enemy bot lane dont die like 4 times in a row for her she just get super outscaled, in high elo most people just dont int like that. I lost like every game that i played with megatron, in BR server we always consider dodging when we get in a lobby with him adc.

That's the problem with off-meta champs. Not because they're bad, but people just throw their hands up and declare that they lost before the game even starts. That kind of attitude wont win games, and it definitely doesn't help your own plays.
@Heros Kxge I don't mean getting tilted after the fact. I meant tilting in champ select. People main and do well with off-meta picks, but still get trolled and their stats tank.
Hey boys, 1 thing missing, the build is based on ahri's atack speed, since the ad means nothing to her, with this build the more she hits, more she delas damage, btw ahri's AS multiplier is .668 while kai'sa's is .658 and jinx has .625
But Jinx has her Q that gives a lot

No way man, I played ahri adc in season 6 or even before always thinking that was just some anti meta pick to make my friends cry when we played together but this dude just got GM. The outplaying part its soo true, i still remember when a vayne in the other team got so angry that he left the game cuz ahri adc cant win against him
I wonder if a nashors, lich bane build would be also good on her in bot lane(if for instance your team is heavy ad or the enemy team is squishy)
you lose damage, as kraken is garanteed true damage, you lose AS, with only nashor as AS source, and overall you lose damage, as you are not fully building burst neither DPS, so you are doing both, just bad
Reminds me of when I played AD ahri in one for all and I somehow ended up being the most fed ahri in our team, now I see why xD

Since the roword i never played ap ahri again . Ive been playing ap ahri for long yet never got a penta . The moment i transitioned tp ad i got 3 in a row in my first 3 games ( penta each game )

When i was playing ad ahri it was a troll, but i told my friends it's great idea. I thought E has arisen from all dmg sources from ahri includes autoattacks. Now she's pretty great tho

AD Ahri falls off so incredibly fast that it's more of an early-mid game pick and if you end up getting into late game you're basically done-so if the enemy team doesn't fuck up too badly. Not saying it's impossible to win with AD Ahri, just that any reasonable enemy team will most likely seriously stomp her.

Therefore you need a late-gane hypercarry in your team comp, such as Kayle top, -Vayne top-, Jhingle or Eve support
I've been testing Triforce, Muramana, Botrk and Ravenous Hydra on AD/Caster Ahri in the top. It's a really fun build, but only good if you get ahead.
very hard to justify going Muramana if only ad scaling in your kit is autos, better off going crit imo
@@kwoltekublai3337 Muramana procs of all your spells, W procs it 3 times and ulti can proc it alot as well. Same with Ravenous Hydra. Botrk are vs tanks and duelists, otherwise I just go Hydra 3rd. I mean, it's not a top tier build but you can dominate lanes and games. Especially now when she's op.
You should try going Braum and Graves combo for bot lane, i think it might work.
U should also talk about the negatives of these picks partially so they don’t get spammed in solo Q. For e.g just point out she doesn’t scale as hard as other ad carries

I wonder if manamune would work as you cast a lot of spells you could have great dmg. And maybe triforce. Maybe manamune is toi slow but i definitly could see a triforce bork build with manamune once tear is stacked
Manamune might be possible but you want to snowball your lane with this pick and the manamune is just too slow, as you suggested yourself.
Triforce Bork is likely a bad idea since you'll be trading raw damage for utility(slow on bork), mobility(speed up from both) and a tankyness(heal from botrk and HP from trinity). But as we saw Ahri alread has enough utility(E), mobility(R and W) and tankyness (passive). So crit will likely just be straight up better.
Manamune is used often in AP Ahri when your team doesn’t have enough AD damage :)
manamune is something to concider if you are having a very passiv lane. if they sit under tower with a long range adc and both supps are enchanters. you might have a passive lane then going tear helping you with your q to manage the waveif they push harder than you. it's defintly not the best item but i think that if you get away with buying it you might become a monster with even more burst than a crit version. as soon as you get your 1/2 item spike while crit tend to really shine later.
also triforce is probably better standalone item than crit if you need to go in and out a lot which you will do with your r, into teams with big threats that you can't dodge the extra hp might save you too.
then bork is obviously very good if they have chunky enemies it got buffed really it's not an item to forget on any adc outside of jhin probably, against certain teams.
i think these could suit her kit nicely.
