This Sim would have been MUCH better if you started it in 80's instead of 90's. The Milwaukee Bucks didn't have a single losing season during the 80's with a team built around 4 All-stars in Terry Cummings, Ricky Pearce, Sydney Moncrief and Jack Sikma. Imagine Giannis thrown into that team? They were already great and Giannis would have made them a Dynasty!

My favorite way to play 2k is a fantasy draft franchise, with all players ever. Getting Giannis in round 2, and just sprinting to the basket and dunking on people for 30 points a night has been pretty effective more often than not

I have to think that the reason the Bulls always underperform in sims is that no one ever installs the triangle. That system was as much a key to the team's sustained success as Jordan & Pippin.
By keeping all the modern-day coaches, we're basically getting to see how old-school players would do in modern-day sets and systems, which are designed around players with a different set of skills. It does make for an interesting thought exercise: seeing which old-school players would thrive in a modern-style NBA.

Yo Clique, to get the expansion teams you have to go to the rule changes screen during the offseason. One of the changes will be add expansion teams. Manually override it to yes and you get your expansion teams added
A suggestion would be to always fix the rotation personally before the sims to be realistic, because the 2k coaches are trash. I think this sim be better if you adjusted it first to make realistic, it makes no sense that he on the bench at the end of the game and is not first option.

I think the issue here is Giannis is making more money then most teams top two guys combined. I mean the best guy in free agency is signing for like 28 mil per year and Giannis is making 50 mil. So the Bucks cant getting any talent around him.

I think it would be fun if 2k MyCareer it let you choose what decade you wanna start in and depending on when you start the attribute levels change or something to fit more with the timeframe

You would have been better off using a stock rookie from 2k in the draft on this roster and letting the league decide where he goes. You could have set the potential to his current rating but 50 boom 50 bust... that's what you should do for challenges like this...

I was doing a Charles Oakley 2020s career sim when you reminded me to like (he was on the bench the whole time, figured I could save you the trouble)
