    Your Chanel is so cool. I am looking into getting a saltwater tank and I looked though a tons of videos but yours seem the best. The stuff about corals is very cool especially about the clown fish and the enemane so thank you so much keep up the work!

      I’m pleased you like my videos and find them interesting hopefully they help you get into the hobby with a good idea of what’s involved. Your doing it the right way getting the information before starting this will likely save you money and probably a great deal of frustration.
      Good luck 👍🏻

    Good video. I like that wrasse! Have you noticed any changes in red cyano from implementing the caulerpa refugium?

    • @raisingreef339
      @raisingreef339 3 года назад

      The cyano has come due to the tank move its a bit out of whack at the moment once all my levels stabilise the cyano will clear up I’m not worried about that. Cyano thrives in unstable conditions and my nitrates have plummeted so that will cause the cyano to flare up. (Again instability )
      I will do regular I updates on the tank so you will be able to follow along with how it plays out. Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻

    Afternoon Rob, are you able to share your settings for your AI’s please, the intensity and channel percentages more than the ramp and timing, looks spot on the colour and wanted to replicate, Jim

      Hi Jim I can’t remember the settings I had running as I shut the tank down and can’t access the info anymore I think it was simply 5% white 0% green and red and 80% on all the others.
      Give that a try and see how you think it compares to how it looked on camera as this doesn’t always show the colour how it looks in life.
      Hope this helps.

      @@raisingreef339 I was thinking it was something along those lines, I’m acclimating some goniopora with lowers light settings at the moment but once they are happy I will give them a go, it looked to be a pretty much mixed Sps, LPS and soft tank you had, I’m sag you shut it down, what happened?

      The room I had it in is an old garage that wasn’t converted properly so it was very cold and I had issues with condensation on the walls that led to mould on everything in my studio so with no other suitable conditions please to relocate the tank I had to close it down.

    i know it's ridiculously price went up on this crabs, how long you been running your tank? will establish tank with a lot of bacteria should not give any cyono. crabs are great, cleanup crew, i have 10 of them, on my 150 gallon redsea reefer tank

      Started the tank from scratch for about two months then transferred my tank that’s been running 3yrs over with all the rock and live sand and established remote refugium the cyano was due to unbalance in water chemistry caused by the transfer it lasted about a month and went away.
