I relate to Henry so much. I was a good kid and when my little brother got more attention, love, and respect I became a bad kid and my parents still cared about my brother more and treated us differently. My dad was the only one I could talk too because if I told my mom my real feelings I would get in trouble or get lectured, so now I grew up to often hide my real feelings.
I relate to him too except its not a younger sibling (I am the youngest lol) it's my best friend who gets treated like peter. and I get treated like henry. my best friend will say something that hurts and then either I get told "he's telling the truth tho, you are ____" or "well if you didn't ______ he wouldn't have called you that / said that would he?" there are way more phrases but those are the most common ones. it's not a nice feeling being a scapegoat
Someone needs to talk some sence into henry's parents because they act like they don't know what they have been doing as parents or their just in denial because they can't face reality
