Halpern is doing drum clinics on this tour. He is the most genuine guy, and spent almost 2 hrs with 7 people explaining things from displacement to being loose on the kit. Posed for pictures, and encouraged all of us to contact him if anything wasn’t clear.
I only found these guys because of a Spotify playlist called "Djent" and been hooked ever since. Their positive vibe is just infectious and to top it they made two documentaries about making an album.
i did a meet and greet with them a few years ago where you got into the show early and literally just hung out with all of them and talked music, they're all amazing dudes
he moves less then before. when a singer is swinging a lot on stage, it's impossible to sing tight because you're just trying to get some air back breathing and stuff. your heart pumps a lot, doesnt mean he's not ''good'' live, but if he decides to jump around, good chances it's going to be less tight
I'll tell you one thing, as a fellow singer, he's a beast live. I don't know how he was before but in this he sings his ass off. Amazing technique just like in the album
He's always been great live (at least for the past 5 years or so). A lot of singers sound like shit on phone vids because the reverberation of venues on bad mics add weird harmonics and lose a lot of the real tonality. I don't doubt he's getting better like the rest of the band because they work their asses off, but if you're comparing videos then you're probably hearing improvement in phone mics as much as in his singing
@@FadingDaylightPro Nope it's not unfair, lol. If you listen to P4 front to back you can hear call backs to Reptile in Garden in the Bones, Satellites, Crush, and a few others. That is the greatness of Peripherys writing

Glad to see the crowd reacting the way they did! Periphery delivered in their usual excellent fashion, and holy shit the crowd did too. Only halfway through Reptile so far, and if anything the vocals from crowd are absolutely MAKING it.
I saw them at Manchester, great show, but this video proves that Canada definitely loves this band more than any other country, this show is pure eleectric
