      Definitely. Water beginning to cool. Some chironomids are hatching. Looking for water boatmen soon.

    We call this pattern, black and red ice cream cone. A black sally has gills a black bead and a peacock here thorax, same body.

      Thanks, Eugene. You're right - it's a misnomer on my part, but that's how I was introduced to the fly so I have been referring to it that way ever since. Glad you set the record straight on that. Thanks for watching.
