Varahaswami in tirumala fought panchasura and defeated them and took up shelter in tirumalai and defeated many asuras before Srinivasa perumal came to settle on this 7 hills after getting permission from the Varahaswamy . Varaha Vishnu is also kuldevata of Srinivasa mother , reincarnation of Yashoda of Gokul, adopted mother of Sri Krishna.
