i love how proud the parents always are watching their kids perform. they almost always cry when watching their kids audition and it shows that no matter how big or small your achievement may be, if you're a scientist or a singer and even if you're just being yourself, your parents will always be there for you and be proud.

And Zara Larsson! Her first audition in "talang 2008" is outstanding. I remember seing her on tv for the first time (i was 8) and i pretty much fell in love..
I don't really understand the Jacky Hype... She had professional tutoring and everything so it is impressive, but not blown away level... There have been a number of far more impressive singers on these competitions, even in the field of Opera singers

That first one was one of the most emotional performances I've ever seen. That kid has a fucking passion for music, and you can tell he'll pursue it no matter where life takes him. By the looks of his father at the beginning compared to the end, it seems like this guy doesn't show this kind of emotion openly that often, and his dad finally got to see who he really is. Pure emotion, it's beautiful.

Some great examples here. Don't judge someone by looks. Whatever is hidden inside is far more beautiful, but it just takes more to see it.

The two singing together the Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli song -- you usually don't get a Tenor voice like that until you are 35 years old. Remarkable -- he is only 16!
So this is where Susan Boyle was discovered. Beautiful.

Many years ago I learn't playing Classical Music on the piano .My Favorite piece ,among others: Beethoven Symphony No. Five In G-Major. , Who would have thought I would live to see and experience this level of professionalism in the singing . The rendition of songs here are all Master pieces. Bravo !! Bravo !!

Holy crap, Caroline Costa has a voice far beyond her years.. Imagine her in 5-10 years how powerful she will be with more practice, she was incredible! The youth of this generation has resources to practice far more than generations before, hopefully we will see many more like her that will be even better, hopefully not all will turn out like Miley and sell out and stick to their roots.

Justin Bieber deserves what he has, he started as a RUclips singer. His mum just posted videos of him singing on RUclips and it just so happens, Usher saw him and decided to meet him and guide him. Anyone has the exact same chance to get that opportunity if they do exactly what he did and pushed themselves. Nicki on the other hand I do not really know how her background much, but for JB that's how he came up.

undeniably he is a good singer. but the type of music he's singing appeals to the x-factors fanbase . i dont mean to sound sexist but he's singing to the women and the crowd is always filled with girls at these talents shows and that definitely helped him win.

Unfortunately much of the true talent gets overlooked for the quick buck by the record labels.
He has a distinctive singing voice, but will never be a good singer, he will sell records make a few bob and never be heard from again except Big Brother.
I suspect Jarmain is rolling in the money from all the private functions he will be performing at, you wont see him again unless you go to the West End or Broadway
