    Heavens in glory
    Rise up above
    Exceeding praise of
    The Highest Love;
    Of peaceful pastures,
    Heart pleasing grace,
    Soul-warming mercy,
    Sustaining faith;
    Of Great Redeemer,
    The Cornerstone;
    The Kindest Shepherd,
    God Three in One.
    The more I listen -
    The more I sing,
    Forever servant
    Of Mighty King.

    “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
    2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
    Hebrews 12

    There is absolutely no island of righteousness in any fiber of our being.
    Dead we are in our sins, unless if it pleases Jesus Christ to impute in us his righteousness and saves our wretched souls from perdition.

    Throughout the ages this is the work of the devil through man- to add useless works to salvation.
    Salvation is by grace through faith, the gift of God
    Any other way man would boast of his works

    You better get right with God🎶🎶
    Come and do it now
    Under the cross of Jesus
    I lay your burden down
    You better get right with God
    Come and do it now
    Get right, get right
    Get right with God
    “. . . behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” - 2 Cor. 6:2

    Not just FAITH alone, but by His precious BLOOD!
    Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
    :26 To declare I say, at this time His righteousness that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
    :27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
    ❤ Its not works that saved us, rather the BLOOD OF JESUS and by GOD'S GRACE THROUGH OUR FAITH IN HIS FINISHED WORKS!
    Romans 5:11 -21 And not only so, but we also JOY IN GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom we have now received the atonement.
    Hebrews 11:6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
    ❤WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM.
    Ephesians 2:8-9 For by GRACE ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God:
    9: Not of works should any man boast.
    Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who were sometimes far off are made nigh by the BLOOD OF CHRIST. (ROM 3:25- again)
    ❤ THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION.
    (PROPITIATION - ACT OF APPEASING WRATH)
    ❤ PRAY - I accept the BLOOD ATONEMENT, I accept JESUS DIED FOR ME, I believe JESUS DIED IN MY PLACE FOR MY SINS, HE TOOK MY HELL APON THE CROSS AS THE WRATH OF GOD WAS POURED OUT UPON HIM WHO KNEW NO SIN, FOR MY MANY TERRIBLE SINS!
    I receive the Atonement BY FAITH.
    I accept the transaction, I accept Jesus' payment for me.
    I trust in what Jesus did!

    The silliness of Roman Catholicism. It is completely unbiblical. If you are RC and stumbled upon this video, see it for what it is. Unbiblical and completely man made.

      Complicated and definitely not of divine origin. The idea of purgatory undermines God’s own PERFECT provision in Christ Jesus.

    Here is the key that no one understands when it comes to justification. Rome understands the Biblical view that there is a difference between the justification of the ungodly vs the justification of the godly. If one does not understand this, then there is no point in trying to understand the catholic view of justification. No one can merit the justification of the ungodly that unites one to Christ and brings one into a state of grace. Read that again. Rome teaches that NO ONE can merit the initial grace of justification that brings one into peace with God through the forgiveness of sins that was merited by the wood of the cross! This is spelled out specifically in Trent. When God then declares us righteous, he makes us righteous by infusing the rightoues Love of God into the heart. We still sin after this, we still make mistakes after this, we still fall short after this. Our sins after justification effect our sanctification. Sanctification is participation in the life of Christ. Satisfaction for our faults is tied to sanctification aka the justification of the godly, not the ungodly. Dr Sproul thinks he is talking about the Catholic view of justification the way a protestant understands the way of justification. He does not understand that he is actually speaking about romes views of sanctification. If RC would have not turned down ALL of the offers by Catholics to have a debate, it would have been more beneficial to all of us.

      @DanielParvin1 6 дней назад +2

      Hi neighbor,
      You're mistaken; Sproul was well aware of Rome's distinction between first and second justification, but he regarded it as an unbiblical distinction.

    • @catholicocdpodcast
      @catholicocdpodcast 6 дней назад

      @@DanielParvin1 yes but first and second could be understood as if that means I was justified, then i lost it, then i was justified again. That's not what I mean. To live holy is have Christ living in you and through you. That means that any good thing we do is based on the righteousness of Christ. When Christ works through us, how is this not him sharing his righteousness with us? He shares his Righteousness with us in two ways. One in a legal satisfaction sense and the other is from a sanctification sense

    • @DonCheetaah
      @DonCheetaah 6 дней назад +1

      Christ’s righteousness is imputed; declared justified by God through the gift of faith. The grounds of justification for the believer is Christ’s righteousness, alone. Sanctification follows by the Holy Spirit (making and transforming) the believer into the image of Christ through the course of life time. Glorification; the work of sanctification is complete by the Holy Spirit (made) righteous no longer able to sin. God’s completed work for the believer ends the moment crossing the threshold of death into the presence of Christ seeing him face to face.

    • @catholicocdpodcast
      @catholicocdpodcast 6 дней назад

      @@DonCheetaah you are really proving my point. In your explanation, you stripped Christ and the incarnation from sanctification. You make sanctification to be totally void of any connection to the righteousness of Christ. Paul in Romans and Galatians calls the holy Spirit the Spirit of Christ. This means that the gift of sanctification is still tied to the righteousness of Christ. Therefore Sanctification is Christ sharing his righteousness with us . That's all I am trying to say
