I have six glocks, five of them are used, all used police trade ins, they were between 325 and 400, the 400 was for a glock 35 gen 4, all of them have glock or ameri glo night sights. I have never had any issues. Keep up the great videos and information.
Many G43X owners use G48 holsters to carry them, because of the whole Keel effect thing. Having a G19 length grip with only a G43 length barrel/slide it causes the gun to keel a lot worse... so the G48 holsters fix that. With that said though... it would surprise me if all those people didn't wish they just got a G48 instead of the G43X. I always considered the 48 to be a better weapon than the 43X for that. I really prefer the G43 for concealed carry above both of them though, but I'm sure they all have their uses.
I agree. I have a G19, G26, and G43. Nothing beats the 43 for comfort/concealment for long periods of time. Nothing beats the 19 for shootability and overall perfection. But I had the opportunity at the range to shoot the 43X and the 48 back to back. I almost didn’t even bother trying the 48, honestly. Back to back, I’d take the 48 for sure! Shoots so much better and based on my experience carrying the 19 and 43, the 48 would be just fine if not better. If I get a chance to get one on the cheap, it’ll be mine. 👊😎

Been watching your channel for a couple months now. Your shorts kept popping up on my RUclips account and I enjoy your non biased reviews and honesty when it comes to firearms. This is the first time I’m commenting because I couldn’t agree with you more on this one. I was trying to decide whether I wanted a 48 or 43X for my first pistol and I rented and shot them both at the range. The 48 was an easy decision. Felt more comfortable in my hands and I was much more accurate with it having very little experience with handguns. Bought a 48MOS and I absolutely love it. Just bought a very clean used M&P shield as a second carry/home defense pistol which I’m very happy with but the 48 is my 1st love. Keep it up man!

love the vids man. the glock 48 is my edc. crazy thing i had hella issues with it for the first 2k rounds, i got it new. wouldnt go in to battery till the trigger was reset. but i contacted glock they sent me and updated recoil spring and it fixed all my issues. iv tested it a ton and never had any more issue. i love the 48 cause its a mix between fun to shoot and concealable. but keep up the vids man love to see it
I feel the same way about my shield plus 4 inch performance center! Respect to Glock I just prefer the Shield plus but if I were to buy a Glock it would be the 48!
Love my G48! AmeriGlo Spartans (serrated black rear, non-illuminated). I do have the 15-round PSA mags, but they're for range time only even though I've yet to have a malfunction with them.

God I think I need a 48 in stainless. My 43X has a wicked-good trigger. Crisp, predictable break, so damn good. It’s one of my favorites for how it feels in the hand and how it carries - so comfortable and lightweight compared to my 19 or 26. Guns don’t go bad, a well-maintained used gun is just as good if not better than a NIB gun. Seen some LEO trade-ins on Aim Surplus for mid-300s, tempting
I just got a 48 myself and it is a great hand gun. I shoot it very well I am weird about one thing , I also have two PSA 15 rd mags that so far work great but I can’t carry using aftermarket mags. I’m silly I know but I am a Glock fan and I know that they are reliable so o don’t trust the PSA mags yet
I used to love glocks I have owned around 12 over the years. But it’s 2024 they are absolute trash at this point unless heavily modified. When you can buy so much better factory guns with so many options at this point. If Glock does not start catching up they will be on par with high point in the next 5 years 😂

i really don't know why people fanboy over Sigs so much when they are quite expensive for being less reliable than M&Ps, HKs, Glocks... etc. I see so many reported or filmed failures with Sig handguns haha
I normally don't change connectors in my glocks, but the ghost edge is a huge game changer, and makes my 43x trigger feel like my stock glock 19 trigger but just a tad lighter.

I’m telling you bro the 48 is a beast. Don’t be a pansy the shield arms gen 3 mags run. I have probably 5 gen 2 and I put thousands of rounds through them and I didn’t have issues aside from not locking back on the last round. I value having 50% more ammo in the gun over a quicker reload. I’ve only got maybe 750 rounds through the gen 3 s but it seems everything about them is better than the gen 2.

I try telling new owners this all the time and it goes over their head. If you just want to get into firearms and learn just buy a used glock. It’s the gold standard and everything is compared to it. Nothing wrong with used or police trade ins just don’t go to a pawn shop and u should be fine.
P365 is reliable. I’ve had more issues with oem Glock 42 and 48, though they are awesome. Respectfully, you mod your guns far away from oem so much, that it’s difficult to take your criticisms of p365 seriously. Btw, You have great content and I agree that the 48 is ideal, especially if you train with a 19 that has the same setup.
P365’s were all stock as they were in the actual videos speaking on the issues. It’s all there. They have ran better since being returned and even with the aftermarket parts.

If there were still issues we’d hear more about it. All it takes is a Google or RUclips search. The P365 takes the brunt of the blame, and people give a free pass to other brands. And I do prefer Glock and S&W to Sig, for what it’s worth.

If it was still an option when I bought my 48 MOS I probably would have got the silver nPVD finish.

I wish I loved my 48 😭 I bought a 43x slide for my 48 lower and I just can't go back. The 43x is so much more comfortable to carry around.

Glocks are tanks. They last forever. Guide rod is basically the only thing that needs replaced with use.

When the 43x/48 first came out they made some with a silver slide.
The slide is silver nPVD. It’s not bare stainless steel.
It was only on the first year in US but it still available on the Glock EU website🔫
