- Hiking is an activity you have to include when visiting Taiwan. The country is rich with a complex of mountains and is renowned for its nicely built hiking trails. Linardo and I hike almost every month, and Mount He Huan has become our favorite because of its stunning view from the top, despite the challenging altitude.
As a little bonus, we explored a hiking trail near Taiwan’s Alishan called Fen Rui Historic Trail. We were amazed to discover a bamboo forest in Taiwan, something we hadn't known existed before.

Yes yes I love hiking! Like the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, The Narrows in Zion National Park in Utah USA, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Half Dome in Yosemite National Park California USA
