I thoroughly enjoy both channels. I have moods for commentary and I sometimes just want to hear the rain.. the reviews on gear are second to none, don’t get me wrong, but the wind and the rain.. hard to beat sometimes. thanks for your work… very best 🍻
I really needed this tonight. The sound of the rain is so relaxing, I especially love it when there’s thunder and lightning. You just de-stressed me. Thank you. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to the next. Stay safe in all you do.
Really enjoyed this you looked comfy cozy tucked in the tent while the rain came down and the thunder rolled, I like the tent and the sitting area , but I myself would need a larger sleeping area , Awesome shots of the storm clouds .
Wow great video.. perfect actually I loved everything about this one. The tent the food and the weather .. couldn’t ask for better weather. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you ❤️👍
I like that Fire Maple Heater/ Stove... I have always gotten gear with multiple purposes whenever possible. Confused on why the second heater... And I definitely want one of those tarps. I like all the eyelets for tying it down.
I enjoy both channels. It’s relaxing just to watch, and you still acknowledge your audience even if you don’t say anything , which I like. It was good to see you cooking. Thanks!
Now that is what I'm talking about. Completely protected from the elements, plenty of room, every comfort possible (except a fire).... question: is it a hot tent without a fire? Would that be a four season? Also, how hard was it to not say a word about what you were laughing about LOL Also also, have you ever had a VERY close lightening strike? Ahhh that was lovely. Now I shall go back to very patiently waiting for your video of the two night hot tent adventure with snow, the fire stove and most important .. Suzie. ;D
This tent. It has some unique features that conflict with the lack of a floor. To me, it feels like it was designed by someone who doesn't camp. The little skirt is a plus in weather, and the rainfly is actually useful for rain. The lack of a floor means everything is going to be soaked in a real downpour or an all day rain event. If there ever was such a thing as a date tent for rainy climates, this is it.
Dear luke your videos help me sleep at night. I have insomnia and when i can't sleep i can turn on ur videos and listen to the sounds of rain on the tent eith my screen off and relax and sleep.
Hi Luke, beautiful scenes here of storms skies and the trees blowing in the wind, just love all the camera shot and how you edited everything together. The tent looks perfectly set up for your needs too Love this channel of yours! Your dinner sure looks good - what kind of meat was that and teriyaki or bbq sauce? ah snap that darn fork/spoon thingy - a sign of great enthusiasm for a meal well made!
Edited, the trees have leaves, sounds of rain yet he’s walking around at some point without getting wet. He does this all the time in the “adventure “ videos. There’ll be sounds of extreme winds in other videos yet no leaves nor trees are moving, snow falling straight instead of sideways if there was wind. Pay attention to the details on many of these videos and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I believe he edits it that way purposefully to not break the soothing aspect of the video. For example if he used the real audio in every shot audio wise it would be quite jarring and because the weather realistically isn't exactly the same the entire adventure he probably uses some audio from the time lapse sections in place of certain sections that are lacking anything going on. I personally appreciate it
I really enjoy everything you do, but when you don’t talk. I feel we miss out on so many things to learn. Even when you hold up your cup and say “cheers”. It’s so relational
Feel the same way to an extent. But with the original adventures on his everyday channel, we aren't missing anything. This is strictly for the people who like it this way and/or sleep to it
1. Great vid 2. I love the design of that tent and would be all over it if the 2p version had full standing headroom . 3. That being said , im not sure i would be comfortable camping in a clearing under aluminum poles with electrical devices going no matter how nice of a tent i had , but thats just me .
I have watched more ASMR videos then I can count. Yours are the best i have seen so far. The problem is, I have binge watched all of yours already. So now I have to wait for you to make some new ones.
I love video s but like the talking one makes feel with you brother Luke. Sis did great job on her 👏 💗 💓 video lots love light blessings too you in Jesus name ✨️ 💖 💛 ❤️ 🙏 ♥️ ✨️
I ordered a Covea Cupid Heater...hope it works well. Mr. Heater Buddy takes up too much space and puts out more heat than I want. I like the stove you used. Fire Maple? Great adventure. California is getting slammed with rain; rained for the past 12 hours or more, alternating light and heavy. The mountains are getting a good dose of snow above 7000 feet; it should be great skiing at Big Bear ski resort. I see you got your front end repaired. It looks nice. I looked at a used 2004 Hummer H2 in great condition with 92K on the odometer. My van is an RWD only. The H2 will be my winter vehicle.
You're lucky with the size of hail where you are. We have had hail the size of baseballs on occasion here...Alberta Canada...lol. does a lot of damage.
I am curious as to when this video was actually filmed. There seem to be quite a few leaves still on the trees for late January/early February. Either way, love the video as always!
He is splicing and editing all the videos. It's all scripted and rehearsed. My Grandsons are 8 and 10 and know more about camping than that guy does. It's his livelihood, to post all these cheesy videos to get paid by RUclips rather than get a real job. He is so condescending and narcissistic that it's really sad. That little guy is not past military but pretends to be.
Great vid. Enjoy the second channel. Are there any plans to use this tent with a stove to test overall performance? I'm guessing it is subject to weather where you are. Currently own a One Tigris Hot Tent but shopping for larger alternatives when my Lady and Dog tag along for adventures Be well
I think I am to lazy to put all that effort in making a comfortable campingplace for just one night. But maybe that is what makes camping so fun. I don't know. I hate camping, but I always watch your video's Luke.
You can, I’m a 66 year old woman tent camping mostly solo with my 2 dogs all the time. Where there’s a will there’s a way. Last year I did 4 off road tent camping trips of several weeks each, this year I booked Yosemite in April for 14 days and maybe going dry camping to Sequoia afterwards. I have osteoarthritis which has made me change some of my camping gear according to my limitations. We might be older but we’re alive.
Do you use the heating pad all night or turn it on and off as you get chilled. Would you recommend using a felt type heating blanket in a 2man type tent with a small solar generator?
Storm Magnet comes thru again!! Around here we call those line squalls, they come in fast at 60 mph, but we get much heavier rain with them. We got caught out on the water once coming in as fast as we could - but not fast enuf - they saw it hit us from the dock, then lost sight of us in the torrential rain. Neither could we see the shore... We ran aground on an island and stuck it out there till it ended a good hour later. We bailed a good 6" out of the boat and made it back. They thot we had been lost as they couldnt see us behind the island... God was our navigator!! S&H Jerry
Whats the first thing that you do when you get home. Me l would have to take a hot bath, put on something warm and snuggly. Have a couple glasses of water and watch the news or a good old western. Bring on the buttered popcorn. I remember my first camping experience at 4 years old, dad set up everything i think my sister and l were sleeping in the car and then we crawled into the tent and the smell of the lantern and finely off to never never land . When we got up it was still dark and mom was making breakfast, bacon etc and coffee it was intoxicating. I will never forget that experience.
I wish there were more honest reviews that are not corrupted by BS, I have no problems testing kit, reviewing free kit, but there should never be any restraints or caveats - free honest review, for better or worse leads to improved quality control and a better product
My 8 and 10 year old Grandsons are Boy Scouts and they go camping alone in the woods miles from their homes. They only take a 2 man tent, two sleeping bags, a box of Pop tarts, and canteen with water. They dont take a Power Pack, chair, table, tarps, etc. They walk a mile into the woods because they can't drive yet.
Love this guy. He lets us know what gear we can trust, and what gear will kill us. So we don't waste money or invest in garbage 🗑️. Great channel
Can you tell me the tent he was using?
Backyard camping at its best, and he didn't let me know anything
I love the sound of rain on a tent. Well, as long as it isn’t leaking and I am warm and dry inside. Then, it is perfect. Otherwise, not so much.
I thoroughly enjoy both channels. I have moods for commentary and I sometimes just want to hear the rain.. the reviews on gear are second to none, don’t get me wrong, but the wind and the rain.. hard to beat sometimes. thanks for your work… very best 🍻
Ditto. The sound of the rain is music to my ears. Not sure how I'd feel with all that lightning and thunder while in a tent, though.
I like the silence, it’s a great experience to hear all the sounds.
I really needed this tonight. The sound of the rain is so relaxing, I especially love it when there’s thunder and lightning. You just de-stressed me. Thank you. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to the next. Stay safe in all you do.
Another great video. Love your gear reviews but nothing beats the sound of rain on a tent. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Thank you very much, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
More are to come.
- Luke
Really enjoyed this you looked comfy cozy tucked in the tent while the rain came down and the thunder rolled, I like the tent and the sitting area , but I myself would need a larger sleeping area , Awesome shots of the storm clouds .
I would sleep the whole time. Just the sound of your video about put me to sleep. So relaxing.
Wow great video.. perfect actually I loved everything about this one. The tent the food and the weather .. couldn’t ask for better weather. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you ❤️👍
Love the Asmr sounds of rain & no talking. Thank You 😁
This may be my favorite. So cozy.
Some weather. Rain , hail, wind, sunshine, more rain. What a day.
Almost everything he says in this video I can totally agree with.
Love those storms. It's great to watch you cooking ! Real Food 😀
He doesn’t cook. He heats water up
That's pretty funny and somewhat accurate.@@laynepowell8085
Happy camping everyone
I like that Fire Maple Heater/ Stove... I have always gotten gear with multiple purposes whenever possible. Confused on why the second heater...
And I definitely want one of those tarps. I like all the eyelets for tying it down.
Nice adventure!! For some reason I am mesmerized by that tent!
Outstanding job my friend
I enjoy both channels. It’s relaxing just to watch, and you still acknowledge your audience even if you don’t say anything , which I like. It was good to see you cooking. Thanks!
I love watching people eat, it let me know how good the food is by watching their faces
Hey Luke, Great video, awesome channel
I have watched so many TOGR vids that I can hear your gestures and facial expressions in your voice 😆🤟
THANKS FOR SHARING ANOTHER GREAT TRIP TO WOLF MOUNTAIN. TAKE CARE AND WE WILL BE WAITING FOR THE NEXT ADVENTURE...
I really enjoy your quiet videos! Love listening to the nature and the rain!,
Love this cozy setup
I love you camps but your stories and honest opinion are what I enjoy , you have the gift

The water pot looks well used!
Why do I like these vids so much.

NOW THIS WAS AWESOME NO TALKING ,JUST LETTING US ENJOY THE AMBIANCE OF IT ALL THIS EAS RELAXING SO RELI LOVE❤ IT I NEED MORE OF THESE
My husband always listens in when I'm watching your videos and he always says 'hasn't it stopped raining yet?!' 😂😂
I really enjoy everything you do, but when you don’t talk. I feel we miss out on so many things to learn. Even when you hold up your cup and say “cheers”. It’s so relational

Then go to his channel where he talks since you need constant entertainment like a child. This channel is called THE QUIET PLACE
relational? 🤦🏻♂️
@@smithjs1978 I wouldn't question it too much, I think he's special needs 😂
Go to the talking channel.
Thanks Luke for another great guiet adventure.
Thank you for another awesome video. ❤
1. Great vid

Normally I don't like a camper shell on a truck but I do like the look of your truck!!!
Always a pleasure to watch you Luke but that sure was a lot to set up for one night...
Wow, been their in a none waterproof tent with just plastic, on top and bottom...
Life is an adventure...
Thanks😊
Stellar video my friend. I would recommend trying a Temu heated vest. I love mine. 👍
Hey Luke, yes I'm watching again. Absolutely amazing videos
Thank you ❤ please say hello to sweet Susie and the children. Ms Ann 🌹♥️
I love that tent. Double floor! Cheers
New subcriber. Good video. Nothing like getting away from the family for a spell. Recharge. Nice spice pack

Wow! You have a new channel. I do miss your talking, but not the testing of equipment.
Luke Rainwalker does an overnight gear test on Wet Wolf Mountain.

Being a western kind of guy I had no idea it rained so often in the Carolina's
Its cozy tent my friends🏕️

The only thing I don't like is that the storm went so fast, I definitely do not like the sunshine, I like cloudy, cold and rainy😅😅 😅😅😅😅
Hey get you a metal fork and spoon, that way you won't be breaking them all the time 😂 👍
🏕Great video. 👍
Would a lounge chair make a good bed??? Like your utilizing technology. Why not.
Why not let the heater run most of the night??? Great Video!!!
We can't get that tent in the UK Luke
❤😊

Luke. Why the tarp ??. Is it a leaky tent.
I wish there were more honest reviews that are not corrupted by BS, I have no problems testing kit, reviewing free kit, but there should never be any restraints or caveats - free honest review, for better or worse leads to improved quality control and a better product
How is the cheap tarp grommet collection going?
crikey i thought i was watching TheOutdoorGearReview guy 😂 😂
dinner sure looked good.
Does that tent have a vent for a hot stove?

Coffees up! Lets do dis!
What's the dish you made?
11:39 HEY NOW!
Just used a fire maple gas stove,,,,blew up in my face ,,,it was with a canister adaptor,,,deadly,,,,
Couldn't have been too deadly. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been alive to post this comment on RUclips. 😂🤣 ( I Crack my self up ) 🤪
tent heater and stove combo? Boy I hope it was small hail, poor truck..just got fixed. you brought both heaters...tell me thats not a heating pad :)
