One of the best things I love about Sultai is its cocktail of Value Engine, Graveyard synergy and Ramp with a side of counter magic. Truly a great concoction of elements to build and control the board.
Looks like Jon M had a misread on the creature he played. He said “may” but I don’t believe that creature is a “may bounce back,” it’s a must. A couple of points of damage and a card - not exactly game breaking. (Played a few people who made this mistake in draft X_X)
If you control creatures other than Mistbreath Elder as its triggered ability resolves, you must return one of them to its owner’s hand. If you don’t, you have the option to return Mistbreath Elder to its owner’s hand or leave it on the battlefield and have the ability do nothing. So i think it was played correctly

Good catch. All the new cards can make it hard sometimes.

You right! Other and then May
Maybe there is an uncommon one I am thinking of. My bad
I believe Jeff missed +14 life when Jon was hit turn 6
@michaelbutta4764 yeah he missed it but doesn't seem to change the results of the game.
So much going on. Good catch tho
