Hello all!
I want to give you all some information on what is going on with me, the channel, friends, etc
First of all, I think I have decided that once I am done editing the videos that I have remaining on my hard drives, I don't think I will be doing any more video editing after that.
I believe that will be about 5 more L4D2 FFW parts, and maybe a small video of me and friends on Castle Crashers. (I know my track record for uploading is awful, but I plan to have all of these done before 2020).
This isn't to say that I will never edit videos again, but after doing it heavily for 4 years (2012-2016), and then off and on up until present, I'm very much burned out on the process that goes behind it.
I've always tried to make the videos as perfect as possible, in terms of audio, visual, sequencing (this clip here, this one here), etc.
There are a lot of times when I initially think a clip is funny to put into a video, but then the next day, I don't think it is good enough anymore, and sometimes that will lead me to deleting said clip or procrastinating on what I feel like is a failure. This is a huge reason why it sometimes takes me months to get out a video I've been sitting on.
If I do anything RUclips related now or in the future, it will most likely be live streams. That may involve me going to another platform to do so if it becomes a big focus, but I don't see that happening with what my priorities are and the free time I currently have.
Onto the next subject, which is about my friends and the streams:
The main reason there haven't been any L4D2 Vs weekend streams in a while, is because no one is around anymore. I feel like me and my friends have never been this far apart in our 9+ years of knowing each other, which is really sad to me. Let me give you a small run down on what is going on
For one thing, I am no longer friends with a specific person in our group as of a few weeks ago, which I feel has somewhat caused a divide between everyone. I always considered this person a good friend of mine and was always appreciative of his company, but they told me in a recent argument that they never considered me a friend of theirs at all, and they never respected me either.
This really sucked to hear, but in a way, it was a good thing, because I'd rather not be "friends" with people that put up facades like that. I'd rather be by myself than be with fake people, essentially.
In the beautiful words of Faye Valentine: "They say humans are social animals, they can't live alone. But you can live pretty well by yourself. I tell ya... Instead of feeling alone in a group, it's better to have real solitude all by yourself."
Pretty much everyone else in the group is happily living their lives IRL with their partners. I am genuinely happy for them too. I wouldn't want them to not have that happiness in their life just so I can see them online more.
I may hear back from a friend once a week, and may play games with them once a month or so, but that is about it. It is pretty much just me now.
Speaking of me, for those who may be wondering how I have been doing mentally since our last Q and A stream; I've been doing pretty well. I'm really focusing on my job, which I am looking to move higher up in. That will happen as long as I keep my priorities in check :)
Other than that, my anxiety, chronic depression and bipolarism has been really under control on my current medication. Thanks to these, that is honestly the main reason we have even seen Part 111 come out today, along with this information about me and everything else going on.
I think that about covers everything I wanted to talk about.
This may look like the beginning of the end, in terms of the channel, my friends, etc. But I want everyone reading this to know, whether you have been here for a long ass time, or have just recently found the channel; I've thoroughly enjoyed my 7+ years on RUclips, and meeting you awesome people along the way.
I've had so many good moments and memories thanks to you all, especially on the live streams. Thanks to the power of RUclips, those memories/moments will forever be fossilized for anyone to go back to and watch/relive. Along with the fantastic fan art you guys have made, which can be found in our Discord and on my Facebook page (links in the description)
Thank you, everyone, truly. I am very fortunate to have had this experience, and I would gladly get cheated on by my ex, which would drive me to start making videos as a hobby, all over again, if it meant I got to go through these RUclips years again with you all ;D

Like to say I love going back a viewing all the great and wonderful moments we have had. You have been amazing at editing and capturing these moments. As Peak mentioned IRL things have separated us heavily. It sucks, as I personally wish I could game more with my friends but unfortunately it is what it is. Always your friend Dymy ♥️.

Peak, I remember watching your videos in 2012 when I was 11. I watched your first L4D2 Funny Fails video. It was one day before my birthday actually and now I've graduated from High School and I just want to say, Thank You. When I was 14 and going through hard times from being bullied for my sexual orientation, I would come home and watch your L4D2 videos and that would cheer me up greatly. You have actually been someone great in my life without you even knowing it yourself! Watching your videos brings me joy. It makes me think about the times my friends and I played l4d2 almost daily. My brother as well. We never bonded over any game as much as this. Me and him while we live close, are further apart than we ever have been. Not even games bring us closer anymore. Peak, you never really got to know me well, I always loved your channel, it's brought me so much joy, while you guy's got drunk, I got high, I mean.. I am 16, so I probably shouldn't, but it is great, I never really go on the steams, but I watched the live streams when they are posted on youtube, so it gives me something to do for a day, and all your FFW moments, I have watched countless times, and will watch again down the line. I am glad you are happy with your job, I really am. I am having hard times myself with depression and anxiety. Its a shame I always wanted to play a lfd session with temper but I play on pc. Its pretty sad to hear about tje split in the group peak but most importantly I hope you are doing well with whatever it is you are doing. I found your channel when you were on like ep 40 or so of lfd funny moments and ive really enjoied watching. Ive even started my own channel makeing videos some of which are lfd with a friend. This game has been on my favorite list for years and its been really nice watching you upload these little golden vids among all the bs on youtube.
