Also yes adding a mic and having to balance and throw something during a dance is hard, it is hard for practically everybody while singing holding a mic. Also, Kyu has mentioned MULTIPLE TIMES that he tries to keep up to what his dad does so his father does not look bad. If his father teaches korean to chiense he tries to make sure his chinese is good.
You are right..not sure why he is not using a hands free mic.. I suspect he needs the regular mic to project his voice better, since he has a softer, mellow tone. No doubt holding a mic, concentrating on the song, the dance & the hanky moves is challenging enough...to make matters worst, he need to reorient himself with the dance routine, not to mention taking more part of the song since he took over Taemin's part. I still look forward to a glitch free Trap stage with Kyu, fingers crossed: )
Yeaa, the mic is most likely because of the high notes he has to sing, it's harder to sing high pitch notes with an ear mic then with a regular mic. That's mostly why he has to hold a mic. And yeaa, causing him to drop his handkerchief alot xD I know his Chinese is sooo amazing!!! But then again his father does have a school and teaches korean to taiwanese students, so he must live to his fathers expectations too xP I cant wait to hear his English singing for Trap!!!
I noticed for every Trap performance, Henry always wears a mic while Kyu always has to hold on to a mic. Maybe that's why more difficult for Kyu to dance with the handkerchief & the mic in both hands. Anyway, his voice is great & chinese pronunciation is v gd!

Honestly i am not. I know Henry is the main, he sings the song etc. But Kyu is in charge of singing the Bridge, he holds the high notes of it, while Henry responds to Kyu's bridge singing. Musically speaking, the bridge has the highest notes of the whole song, and he sings it, in order to sing notes like that live, you can not sing with a simple ear mic. Henry, is responding to his notes in the bridge, which are not as high. Also, of course he is not the most talented dancer in the world, but

I have watched all of them Henry alone, with TM, with all the 3 of them & with KH, btw mistakes are not just not limited to him dropping the hankie. Even Henry's performances are not glitched free either. I followed SJ since 2007 & I adore each & every member, but I am not oblivious to what they are best at & what they are not so good @. KH sure can follow dance routine, but that doesn't make him a "dancer". In SJ's best "dancers", he will be ranked in the middle of the pack, with Chulie @ #15.

I don't think this performance has something to do with his father's expectations bec he owns a school in Taiwan, that's just absurd to associate this to that. Let's be honest, KH is simply not a dancer, add accessories to a dance routine complicates it the more for him,his strength is in his vocals. All Trap performance he has appeared so far is NOT w/o a glitch, him holding a mic sure contributes to his mistakes.
