Whenever I'm feeling a bit stressed or overwhelmed, I pop on one of your videos! You always share interesting information, with gorgeous scenery, and dear Morag! Always brightens my day, so thank you- a friend in Canada
Thank you for taking us along! I appreciate the reminder to stop and rest. It's easy to forget to pause and take care of yourself but it's so important. All the best to you and Morag!
Thank you, not the best way to start a long distance walk, what are the powers that be thinking off. The start of a walk should be east to get your body loosened up. Had I taken the path from the official start in Portpatrick this walk would have been horrendous.
Well done Mac , that brought back some memories, i did that walk from Portpatrick, past the second bay where the cable kiosks are and to the lighthouse. Its a hell of a clamber up and down into the bays, impressive that Morag and yerself , tackled it. From what I recall walking past you can also access the second bay (the one with the cables etc) from a small side road off the Dunskey estate, which eventually links up with the main road into Portpatrick Enyjoyed the video Thankyou
Thanks Tony, yes you can get into the bay with the cable hut through the estate but thy discourage visitors as the castle now runes high end hospitality events. Had I had the energy I would have went into the cave to pay my respects.
Aw Mac that was a great video, many thanks for your efforts because that was a lovely walk and felt like I was there. I hope you have had a great week and a good weekend planned. It was so nice to see Morag loving her time on the sand, like a gazelle 😂
Hi Fiona, this is a walk that I always wanted to do, I wish that I was fitter as I would have liked to wander further along the coastal path. Because of the steepness of the ground on the edge of the path I had to keep Morag on the Leash, but she got to go mad when we hit the beach.
@@wanderwithmac I would say I am but I still have some periods of feeling dreadful. I find myself coughing until I gag a few times in the morning, getting a sudden rotten headache, achey stiff shoulders etc, but a couple of paracetamol and a shoe leather enema soon sorts my greeting face out! Smell and taste are improving so I would be dishonest to say am not better but am just not quite me. Back at the coalface and talking all day without losing my voice so I have to say I am probably annoying the life out of everyone! Boiler broke down this week so was old fashioned washing myself, hilarious, bucket of water from the kettle, a flannel and soap and hoping I got to the correct bits, jeez you forget what a luxury a shower is! But all fixed today because of a fantastic guy from Baxi, visit to vets for Rika to get her annual check and Jag and a haircut, so am back to being an armchair critic! 😂 Hope you are having a good one 👍
Sounds like you are very slowly on the mend, my bad stuff this week is very sillier. Looks like my central heating is on the blink and it is mission impossible to get a repair man down here. I also got my Jabs on Thursday and I must have moved during the procedure, if any one touches my arm I go through the roof. This coming week could be rather stressful, crap weather tomorrow, and argumentative people at the place I volunteer.
Aye watch the cold wind Mac? Morag is maybe like my Lurcher, hates cold and rain. Wonder if old ship wreck remains are still there ? Take care thanks for video.

Take care thanks for video.
Loads of wrecks on this coast some appear at low tude
There was a tanker named Craigantler ran aground Killantrigan Bay 1982 .
I went to see once from the road past shore front Cairnryan?
The lifeboat that the crew used ended up in Garlieston and is lying in on the slip, a local person paid £1 for it and seams to have abandond it.
