This was very good content at the end of it all. Like another, I would have loved to be a fly in the cabin, pulling that thing back to the ranch. Well, there is some fittings and tile in there and when I heard you say if it's good you can store your fittings. That was my first thought for the farm. In a past video of the farm you talked about storage. So in my head I'm thinking this was a Mike purchase not an Aaron purchase😁 But it was great content for your channel! Tile trailer. Perfect place to keep all the fittings, risers and such in. Fix the shelves for bins for the fittings and add some racking to the other side for straight pipe.

Back in 71, I had a pickup truck that did the same thing. It turned out that there was one tooth on the flywheel that was broken off. About every four or five weeks, the starter would land on that missing tooth, and then the starter would run, but there was nothing to engage. I hope it is less of a problem than that was.

Of course Aaron made the right decision. 👍 I was hoping there was a Lambo inside the trainer😁. It will likely be worth it for the lockable storage. Aaron did mention it came with some plywood for fixing it up. I foresee a full restoration with lots of yellow paint and barber pole striping🥰

In the words of a former work colleague, when I buried a LandCruiser in mud on a mine site, That's A Carton. Meaning I had to put a carton of 24 beers on the bar at shift change. The night that happened, in the 12 hour shift, there ended up with 15 cartons on the bar, 6 within the first hour.
Well it was awesome until DP decided to drive to the back 40 through a mud pit with it 🤣 good job MBTS 😅🤣😂

That trailer reminds me of some I've seen before! Back in the 80's, working at Walmart, they had a couple set up behind the store for storage and layaway overflow. All of them were unmistakably former cattle cars. Because they didn't completely remove the slats in the floor for the stalls, and the remnants of the cow patties ingrained in the floor, along with the smell! Try as I might, I really don't see a very bright future for it, but I've been wrong before. 🙂
I am sure DP and Aaron will figure out a good use for this trailer. A little patch work and it is a good storage trailer.

If you decide to scrap it some day, save those glass taillights and clearance lights plust the tag. Antique truck restorers pay good money for those.
Any kind of storage is going to cost you way more than you have in that. Used containers go for $3000.00 plus here.

Great find Aaron, that trailer is a classic when its been properly put in place and set up its going to be really useful. You need to do some research and find out what colour it was painted when it was 1st used, then repaint it that colour. 👍
DP i did the same thing one time. Bought a 40 foot container for 500 bucks sight unseen started digging through stuff ended up finding a 12,000 thousand dollar marble countertop. Put it on a market place site and had a bidding war on it
Here's hoping this works out for you. I can see the potential for that structure if it doesn't collapse before you begin fixing it. Hope the tile inside is useable. it was a fun adventure that you brought us along on. I had fun and enjoyed watching it. BTW, Mike. If they come through with the plywood, you have a nice storage shed. That thing will out long outlive a new storage shed. I'm reminded of my grandpa loading a similar but shorter box on a lowboy with a dozer. Buried the deck at ground level and pushed it in place. Reversed the process in a guy's barnyard. He always said you do the best with what you got.
When you do settle n a final place for it, try to get it placed on concrete piers or something so it'll sit more level and take the edge of the bottom rusting out from underneath it. Plus it could be stripped and repainted with the company emblem or the town name. Certainly it'll be handy to keep pipe fittings and such out of the ability to sprout legs and wander away.
Possibly has a small burn spot on the starter commutator.
May be worth stripping it down and checking it out.
I'm not familiar with that particular starter but I've had good results on a lot of heavy duty starters just giving the commutator a light skim in the lathe and fitting a new set of brushes.
Edit,another possibility is the solenoid contacts if it has an integral solenoid.
I don't have a hoarder mentality ... so my eyes see a decrepit trailer full of junk . Only way you might be happy about having it is if Aaron does an banger job of cleaning, fixing the shelves, installing lighting and labeling/organizing all the contents ... on his own time and his own dime . He is an excellent organizer as well .

@Grandpa-Chris I wasn't even being funny. I am 5f4inches. Or 1.65m and I need a clutch extender. If I have to turn and pull up I have to lean into the stick to be able to change gear and use both feet. My left foot can barely reach. Now I don't know how short he is. But dp looks 6f and he is allot shorter.
