Summer Adventures: Dragon King Canyon and Demon Rivers

Japan is a country of mountains and forests. The mountains and forests of Nikko National Park in Tochigi Prefecture are a great place to get away during the summer. Lightning and thunder forced me to change my mountain getaway plans, but since Nikko National Park and the City of Nikko are so large, there is always something fun to do outdoors and in, join me as I make my way from the remote hot springs hamlet of Kawaji Onsen to the wild and beautiful, waterfall-lined canyon of the Ryuokyo
