It was Tokunbo's character that spoke most to me. He had a great opportunity, good friends and a great woman but he threw it all away cos of lack of discipline. Great lesson for me.
Am I the only one who feels bad for Yvonne? In her defense she tried to keep her relationship with Meka professional, but he was so damn persistent. He was the first guy we saw her with who actually cared for her, and clearly that made it hard for her to say no. She was wrong, but I definitely sympathize. I am happy for Eki tho....now I need season 3. LOL all these years later. Please and thank you!

This is by far the best Nigerian series ever made. No exaggeration. Everything from lighting to acting is up to par. Great finale albeit a bit tragic. I can NOT wait for the next season. Please NdaniTv fans like myself would really appreciate a compilation of all the music played on season 2. The show has been such an eye and ear opener especially when it comes to Nigerian music

Which alternate universe is Yvonne living on to think there would not be consequences to sleeping with her business partners fiancé?! Did she really think Meka would not find out about her affair with Sharon's dad since Sharon knew about the affair. For someone who claims to be passionate about her fashion line, she should have focused more on it.

OMG, Ndani TV deserves an award for the best series ever, if they haven't already had one😍! I just finished SGIT and I fell on this sensational series😍. The acting is astonishing, the plot is so engrossing, and the quality overall is nothing less than marvelous 😍!

Yvonne got exactly what she deserved, oniranu gba lomo yen. what did she think will happen ? o ye ko fi oripipe se kan , but no she didn't . i am so happy for eki and moe but i feel sorry for obi sha . it is really annoying me that folarin has a good life , after all the pain and hurt he has caused . i also wish that tokunbo's dad didn't die but after all is said and done , gidi up was good this season and i can't wait to see what is install for the next one .
NdaniTV, I am so inspired and so proud of you guys, because nobody really knows all of the effort that goes into producing a show especially with this quality. I can picture you guys having the same struggles as Toks to find funding for your projects, but you keep pushing through. Yes the episode releases were random but you made it through. Great job guys and I will keep supporting if all it takes is to watch the show. Awesome job you guys and kudos to the writers. That is serious storytelling

I hardly ever watch Nigerian home videos or soaps cos I just end up getting frustrated and/or disgusted! Gidi Up (whatever that means!) impressed me. Fantastic cinematography, relatable storyline and good cast. Let's see what Season 3 brings! Fingers crossed.

Monstrous Ige honestly was expecting a car crash, oh well, we all enjoyed the entire season. Luqman Alim yes you are right, and the boldness has worked for sm ppl in same situations.
Was all that really necessary. why would you leave an elderly man in Range in the middle of no where at night. SMH* That's just not realistic. May be if it had been for him to pee...that would have more realistic. That whole part was just predictable and manipulative writing and unnecessary. I thought that woman loved Obi and saved his life, anyway...she just gave him a few extensions, so she can do what with as she pleases. The whole mafioso thing is okay, but doesn't quite carry the weight, like why entrust all the dirty linen to newcomer folarin, who was the former lead henchman, who must have been running things before Folarin, maybe Folarin deposed him

I love this show, great finale! Loving Mo and Eki. I wish Ikechukwu would go into acting, he's actually quite good. Sad about Tokz dad but the open car just had me rolling my eyes. Looking forward to season 3!

Now that the season has ended.. can I just say Ikechukwu has found his niche? Dude hone your acting skills and stick to it. Leave the rapping thing seriously. The aerial shots of Lagos is so beautifully done. Can we talk about the cinematography in general? The amazing shots and angles. This show has been so refreshing and we hope to see more in the next season. Brilliant show all around.

I am addicted to this series. Each episode had just the right chemistry. The payoff compensated for the build up. This is truly good storytelling, and I must add of very good quality. I can't wait for next season. I anticipate great storylines as I have seen this far.

I enjoyed watching both seasons of Gidi Up on the Africa Channel even though I binged watched it online last year. For people who never saw it, it was well worth the wait. Now if they would just release season 3, we would be happier.

I love me some Adesua & OC I also love Yvonne too much drama can a girl get a break & ofcourse Eki is awesome the definition of a strong women. Please when is season 3 coming it's been 2 years this series is better than most I've seen why did you guys not continue please season 3 I beg .

Indiscipline would cost us so much. Tokunbo's dad would have been alive if he had been disciplined enough to have a good spare tire. Yvonne would have been okay if she had been disciplined enough to say no! Obi wouldn't be in trouble if he didn't decide to be a gigolo....

I felt Tobunko pain, at least he made peace with his dad, but what a way to go after having that father and son bond..
I have been spellbound with this series from season one to the end of season two and i have not been so entranced with my screen as with Gidi up on it! Oh... and i think the kissing scenes are absolutely smashing. Regarding Tk, leaving a pricy car in the middle of nowhere without locking it up isn't realistic and neither is the annoying fact that one with such a car would know better than to not have a serviceman or personal mechanic's phone number to call... Not that i'm surprised... He always did act without thinking things through. As for Eki and Ikechukwu, they are the perfect things that good things come to those who wait while letting go of the wrong stuff in order to hold the right ones. Poor Obi, though! I really wish i could save him! And as for "you cant help who you love", i strongly believe that love is many choices embedded in one. Yvonne chose the path she treads. That Folarin guy though.... Justice has to just serve him right and i cant wait to see how! Watching out for Season 3 with my fingers crossed!
