My parents believed the Good Person idea was the way to go about living life. The drifting away from anything that challenged them in favor of staying comfortable included shying from connecting with God TOO closely. Thank God l opted for “good” rather than “nice”.

No one is really that good. We’re all sinners. None of us deserves heaven, and if we think we do, that’s further proof (pride) that we don’t. But, God so loved the world (us) that He gave His perfect Son to live the life that none of us are capable of living and then to suffer and die on our behalf in order that we may have eternal life through Him.

PSALM 103: Merciful and gracious is the Lord, slow to anger and abounding in kindness. He pardons all your iniquities, he heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, he crowns you with kindness and compassion. Not according to our sins does he deal with us. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us.
Good people don’t go to heaven, only saved sinners go to heaven! This is the shocking truth about human condition and it is foolishness to the world.
That’s why Jesus came and gave his life for all. There is only one way to get to God and Heaven: repent and believe in the gospel.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

What a great video and great analogy of being invited to The Wedding.
I have had 2 near death experiences. I was in a coma twice. I was left in my recovery facing more questions than answers. All I know is that when He's ready for me to STAY with Him in Heaven, I will go to be with Him. This talk basically says what Jesus said to me when I was in those deep sleeps.

What I dont get is why Jesus said to Faustina that he will do everything he can and fight for every soul upon death and only wheb the soul rejects him several times it goes to hell. This also contradicts Marys statement in one approved apparition that millions go to hell everyday cause nobody prays for them. I dont understand cause everyday many ppl in mass pray for souls to be saved. And if Jesus fights for every soul upon death it doesnt matter that nobody prayed for it in life. Some ppl dont have friends who pray for them, should they end in hell for this? My mind doesnt grasp it at all, maybe I cant see clearly. Thank you. :)
Our lady of Fatima also said sins of the flesh send people to hell the most.
The number one Command of God is "To love God with our whole Heart soul mind and strength"!
Its a command not an option.
We must actively seek God and actively praise God.
If we reject God or intentionally avoid God all our earthly life, God will not force us to live forever with Him in heaven.
Baptism is insufficient to save us. We must be all in for God.

The message is absolutely wonderful. But, why do you have those terrible captions. They are extremely annoying. They are also not that good.
I shouldn't pay them time attention the things I need,
Remember, my personal space robbed,
Then I can look at you like the only way to heaven, my body not hope,
And ignore the things I need in my life,
If they didn't start at the correct place it's not possible to talk to people like this

Wow, the prospect of not being able to go to Heaven is terrifying. You pray, go to mass, say the Rosary daily, support the Church, give to charity... I guess I am at a lost as to what to do.

Father Mike, Once again your word Salad does not make sense. Only God determines who goes to heaven. No where in scripture does it say that you know or determine who goes to heaven. Quit wasting everyone's time. You might not being going to heaven for that matter. A lot of Christian Hypocrites and liars probably on that wide road you seem to know so much about.

This is the way to Heaven. The Bible is the Catholic library containing God's word proclaimed by his followers 🙏
@@OneLostWalker That does not mean God is Catholic, or Christian and that only Christians go to heaven. Many Christians proclaim belief in Christ while ignoring his words thoughts and ideas. That is the wide road Jesus was talking about. You might be on it. and so might I. Just do not judge. That will put you on it for sure.
@johnhancock9384 The word Catholic translates to mean Universal. So, the Catholic Church is the Universal Church of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the second person in the Trinity. Therefore, Jesus is God along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, speaking as God, has said that He is the path to heaven 🙏. Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. John 6:53.

All people go to heaven, not just Catholics
No salvation outside of Jesus Christ
But the pope said all paths lead to God
Yes, God is in every living thing and all paths do lead to him, but I think we need to actively seek him out and build a relationship with him because the afterlife is just us and him. If we don't choose him here and now, then we're saying we don't want him later when we've passed on. We need to submit ourselves to him now and to his will, not our own. It can be hard to concede control but we need to try every day and put all our faith and trust in him. And if we fail we ask for forgiveness everyday and we try again. Our faith is a battle and it's ongoing - the fight won't stop while we live here. Fight and lose (which we will because we're human), but always ask for forgiveness and try again. God Bless 🙏🏻
No, only Jesus is the way to the Father
We're not left on our own BUT many have chosen to turn away and as St Alphonsus Liguori wrote there is a point where God will leave a person in their sin and leave only enough grace to turn back to Him IF they choose to do so. Sadly, many prefer sin, darkness and their own choices.
