Magnificent diesel report Simon and you too Micheal. One of the class 20 diesels had an interesting number, 20 007. The numbers at the end represents the same number that famous British agent James Bond carries. The combination of HST power cars was interesting to see because it's rare to see them coupled together like this. It's amazing that one distraction can take the attention away from the trains so easily, it seems that the artwork in the station was too much to resist, and the class 57 diesel caught you unawares! Whoops! Ah well, at least you got to see the same train the next day. Also, the class 66 diesels top and tailing on a freight train, that was awesome, and the horn shows that some of the drivers gave you was wonderful to listen to. It's my birthday on Thursday and to celebrate, I'll be going to Tasmania which is Australia's only Island state and I'm going to the Don River Railway near Devonport to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its establishment, there is going to be a selection of guest locomotives going to visit and it is one of the biggest railway gatherings in Tasmanian history, I'm really excited! Anyway, how are things getting on? Keep up the great diesel updates, because it's always absolutely brilliant especially with the excitement of seeing them pass. Take care Simon and Micheal keep your steam up Kevig
We're spoilt with the amount of unusual, interesting and heritage traction we get near where we live. Simon and dad try to see as much of it as possible!
Another brilliant diesel report. Thanks Simon.
Thanks for watching!
