I share your SEL experience. I drove an 84 SEL, it was just too long. If I was going to be in the back most of the time, that would be different. I want the driving experience. It is fast enough, new speed traps come on the streets every month. There schools, libraries, grocery stores, scooters, and people with difficulty walking. The world needs to slow down and take a deep breath.

M103 is plenty adequate for the 126, It can still cruise at over 100 mph. all day.

The gear ratio is too high. 3000 RPM at 65 MPH is to high.

You mean too low geared, agree that 3k @65 is too high
