The Sun God then answered by giving her a special child, Yoriichi.

@@MrSasukeSusanooTo be fair, they only saw someone who couldn't kill a demon, but let them escape, failing a mission, and also sparing a demon, which was taboo as hell, I mean look at Nezuko, they barely let her live, and if it wasn't for the leader of the demon slayer corp, she would've been dead along with Tanjiro, so while yeah, it was a really stupid decision in hindsight, for them it was the only choice that made sense
