I need this encouragement… I didn’t realize how many women are divorced until I turned to my elders for wisdom… I understand their choice, but I know the heart of God, and want to please Him.

I had struggled in the first few months of my stand because I was afraid that the promise was not for me, but I continued to pray and seek God in His word and I came upon a story of a woman who sought Christ to heal her daughter. He initially denied her but she responded that “even dogs are allowed the scraps that fall from their masters table” - and because of her faith He did heal her daughter. So a promise had not been given to her, but because she sought Him and had such faith, she was blessed anyway. I hope that blesses you as well.

Did you call or look for your husband to see where he might be some days, out of worry or anger? Did you talk to someone for consolation or prayers? Did you deal with everything alone, with God only?
