the biggest win of A54 is video recording IMO, but hard to justify the price tag
Hey, does the A54 have a fixed wide lens on the front facing camera, or can you choose to switch it like on the A34? Thank you!
can you make a video showing camera capture speed on both phones? like spamming the shutter button to see how long it takes to process all the clicks? nice video btw!
Never use 4k on neither on these phones. The stablization is not great at 4k, I would leave the video recording at 1080p 30
But Samsung a54 now the stabilization video supports now 4k 30fps after update ❤!
A54 the A34 looks like it water downs the colors
This phone looks very promising! I hope my network gets it!
I have the A34 and I'm pretty happy with it, but when using the flash, it seems like it is slightly out of sync with the shutter, firing a few milliseconds before the shutter, and the photos turn out darker than they should (sometimes even darker than without the flash!).
Is anyone else facing the same issue? Is it something that I can expect to be fixed in a future update?
I have the same phone, but this issue is very old it happened to me with the note 8 then with the galaxy s10+

I don’t see that much difference between these two devices, and I honestly think the A34 is as good or better than the A54 and it’s less money to boot.

2:32 Does your Kirby really look that pink in the face for the A54 photo? Colour accuracy is important for me. Overall good photos but the stablisation for front facing cameras for both is so bad.

The a54 seems to favor reds while a34 seems to was them out.
A34 wins because of the value perspective.. a54 is not worth the extra over a a34

You forgot one thing in the review. You did not turn on the eye protection shield and increase the yellow colors of the screen. Test and compare between two phones. Who is better in a screen with the blue eye protection shield option turned on. This is an important point in the review. How do you ignore it or forget it? Please make a review New for screen only
This is a camera comparison my guy
Eye protection is the same for all Samsung phones, you turn it on in settings and you can set the strength of it (= how much yellow will screen be)
This is because eye protection is a software feature that is the same for all Samsung phones
wish the A34 did have a hole punch cut out instead of this ugly tear drop notch
even budget xiaomi phones have hole punch front camera
Wish they started going with the less intruding corner punches instead, but being honest, i think the teardrop looks more smooth than the hole punch
I have a second Xiaomi phone and honestly I want to go back to Samsung so much because I've had so many problems with both of them. The worst part is that I can get a Xiaomi phone with similar features for a lower price than Samsung especially because I'm on a tight budget.
I want that A34 because overall I've heard better reviews on it but A54 has a better camera and I really like photographing. Also A34 together with a new charger will cost less than A54.
Any recommendations on what should I choose?

I find the hole punch uglier than the teardrop design :) I don't know, but that solitary punch there just looks like some dirt on the display or something... The teardrop is a more "unified" design, connected to the phone's frame.
A34 better
Yes, A34 better. Dimensity CPU no lags as Exynos. A54 more saturation in photo
Both trash for the price you can get S21 plus which is way better.
It's the same price from last year, lol .it's just countrys different prices , i'n my country the a34 started at 330$ as the same as the a33 5g

Some will want the A54 due to it's internals and glass back
Some will want the A34 because it offers enough with a taller screen
We've grumbled about that teardrop front camera (lol - Nokia's 2023 phones all have a teardrop front camera), but we should all appreciate what both phones offer.
Id rather have the 34 to be honest, due to the processor, exynos is still pretty bad.
