Love these in-depth documentaries giving insight behind the scenes showing all the hard work that goes into making the guards and their mounts look so perfect. Thanks to all soldiers for doing such a good job.
Stunning horses and a whole lot of hard work from the guards. They only get four hours sleep a night. That doesn’t include the wind down laying there going over everything, just to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. When you go to sleep it’s like minutes to wake up time. Just to start all over again. Your all a fantastic hard working teams. Well done everybody you should be so proud.
Oh yeah, chalking greys. Many years of prepping for pony club ribbon days and even longer and harder, prepping for shows. Thank goodness my nieces horses were chestnuts and bays, but man that makeup for touching up bay points gets everywhere, especially if you have a bay "leaner" like one of hers lol.
I googled my butt off but I cannot find any sniff of what a "leaner" is, I can make an educated guess obviously but I'm so curious to know for sure since I've never heard the term.
This interviewer is pretty useless ! Does he have to start and finish EVERY sentence with "OKAY" ? I'm penning this in 2023, two days before the Trooping of the Colour for UK King Charles 111. The horses are wonderful.🤗🐴🐎❤💙

Great information…thank you for posting. Spit and polish for the best boot shine in the old days!! Soldiers are more refined now!
If I had been a Brit this would’ve been my calling! Love the pageantry but just love these noble horses more than anything!
Respect for all the troopers and their horses, they all can be proud of themselves 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

haha that grey was having none of it .. he was wandering where his carrot was.
The black horse they showed looks just like Black Beauty.
The interviewer is going to immigrate. He has his hand already packed up.
