    Good job Davis. That's probably one of the best videos I've seen that explains side imaging and down imaging in great detail. Thanks for that. Now I've gotta go do some tweaking to my 93sv.

    Very informative! Never knew to subtract your depth from your side distance to get actual distance seen on screen

    great video, what transducer are you using?

    Have you tried running your 93sv on your gt56 transducer instead of your gt54? Just got my 93sv with the 54 transducer and im not over the moon about it. Wasnt sure if its the screen resolution on the more affordable 93sv unit or if it was the 54 transducer.

      I have the same set up with livescope. My images never look like the videos. If you look at the stats the GT54 should be better than the GT56 when it comes to side imaging.

    When you’re cover water idling trying to find fish do you find yourself using side imaging or down imaging?

    • @FloppingCrappie

      99% of the time I'm using side imaging. If I find a brushpile that looks like it holds fish, then I'll mark it and circle back using down imaging

    I have a 93sv and my side scan range stays at 34 feet... I change it to 60 or 70 or whatever and it just goes right back to 34 feet???

    • @FloppingCrappie

      You may want to check if you have the range set to auto in the settings menu. Otherwise, there might be an issue with the touchscreen that is causing the range to shrink to 34 feet.

      It is not in auto so maybe there is something wrong with the unit, I just did an update as well so not sure but thanks for the fast response

    When I use the magnification box it's blurred. How do I get a clear magnified display?

    • @FloppingCrappie
      @FloppingCrappie  6 месяцев назад +1

      In the zoom settings, you can adjust the magnification of the zoom box. You can also adjust this by pinching your fingers on the screen to zoom in and out while inside the zoom box. Be aware that the screen will show a certain level of blurriness if you try to zoom in to far, this is due to pixel size on the screen.

      @@FloppingCrappie Thanks. New to this. If ever in NE MS I'd love to fish my home lake (Lake Lamar Bruce Saltillo MS) with you. Excellent crappie and big bass. First hand lessons on live scope and side imaging would be great. Free room and board!

    The 3 big lakes in Mississippi may be going to a limit of only 10 fish in 2025. It won't be worth going anymore if they do.

      They already have. 10 per man or 25 per boat with 3 or more people.
