I always wanted a beagle and finally got one in 2007. He was a tiny baby when I bought him, and has remained kind of short, although as round as a butterball. Beagles are amazing and my beagle Bugles is especially awesome. lol. But I also have a shelter dog I adopted shortly after I got Bugles so he could have a little baby brother. I know you obviously appreciate the pedigree. But don't forget the hundreds of thousands of kitties and doggies in shelters around the country. Maybe you already have? Or maybe you don't want another dog. But either way, i just wanted to remind people to also adopt. Thanks for sharing your baby on here! :-)
I will like to have a beagle am in love with them. It seems that they are good with kids. Am just concerned how active they are like if is true they like to eat shoes and everything you leave out? I have a Yorkshire and he is so good and loving but don’t really know. Can someone let me know if is a good idea a beagle and a Yorkie? My Vet said yes but will like to hear some opinions.
Ana Cielo Guzman just like any other kind of puppy you might get, they do like to chew on things. It’s important to make sure they have their own toys and keep them occupied and they will usually leave other things alone. Beagles have even temperament and usually gets a long with other dogs make cats.
When our beagle was a puppy we called him the confetti maker because if anything hit the ground he shredded it, including kids' homework, lol. It was a puppy phase though, and after a year he started to chill. He's now very good and way more trustworthy. He still likes to steal recyclables from the bin and chew on them though, lol. And he gets along with everyone.
I know this was a few months ago, but that puppy was far too young. Puppies need 3 months with mum before being ready to be put up for adoption. Odds are your dog came from a puppy mill.
8 weeks is way too young to separate the dog from its mother. Speaking of the mother, did you see her at all? There’s a chance that you got him from a puppy mill if you didn’t. Of course, I don’t doubt that Bomber is happy, but puppy mills are cruel businesses to support.
