- In this video, I show how I got the unofficial RecRoom record of scoring a basketball from the farthest distance.

Actually, there is a way to make it further, all you do is simply, instead of going in a straight line, go sideways, the map is longer meaning you get more space (specifically 500 or 1000 more Meters)

I found this a while ago and made it my profile. my score was 4001.7 meters. it took a while to do that. good work!
Edit: what I did was through it up and moved it with the the maker pen.

my best is like 2734.2m without cheating before in the dorm.
you put a REAL HIGH bounce trigger and you let go of the basketball and make sure the respawn is right above the net. then you just bump it in without grabbing it.
then you bounce up again to see how far away it was

I thought of doing this, but the game mechanics would've despawned the ball way before it got even close to the net. So the bucket truck wouldn't work, good idea though!

You can make it further by moving the map to the end of the room and then on the exact opposite side is the other end of the room and shoot from there.
I played it I got 616 and something feet! TYSM

All you have to do is use an animation gizmo then connect the basketball then make the ball constantly go through the hoop then grab the ball then go as far as you want an BOOM, it counts it. It's that easy bro. Don't Forget to make the animation gizmo constantly on by clicking the configure button then click on the 0 in the red circle then click the plus and that is how you make an animation gizmo constantly work. 👌

I actually know another way is that you have to make the basket ball respawn at like 5 sec so you want to do is throw the basket ball where any where you want and once the basket ball resets use the move tool and move the basket ball to the hoop.

My friend on rec room made an invention that makes people or objects fly
A much simpler way is if you throw the basketball and use the tool on your pen and move the ball into the basket then it also counts
not really as effective though because you have to fly the whole way through, while it is simpler, it doesnt make it any easier.

i know how to do this! its a trick! you grab your makerpen, but have the basketball in your hand first. throw the basketball up, press move on your makerpen, and then put the ball in the basket while still holding the ball. and voila! you can go as far away as you want for this trick! and it will always work ;)

I just saved the picture as an invention, then took a picture of the invention photo, won't look perfect, but gets the job done

You can go further, you can reach the corner Z axis and corner X axis.
Also i got 5800 just by going to X and Z border...

You could probably do this on a lower basket by balancing it on your hand too.
the map borders are a cube, and the basketball hoop is in the middle on one of the sides. If you go to a far corner of the map from the hoop, then go up to sky limit. That is truly, the furthest basketball shot...

you can just grab the basketball let go and use the makerpen move tool and put it in the hoop
You can just drag the baskeball hoop farther to the OTHER side of the map then you go to that side you have already built. Throw it. And boom. Thats the record
