I just made this cardigan and it came out beautifully. Your foundation method is so much easier than how most people do it. Instructions were clear and so easy to follow. Beautiful design. Thank you so much!❤
This is as lovely as your hooded cardigan! And, your instructions are easy to follow. Your oice is so mellow and calming. I have a new favorite crochet designer! Thank you!
You let me know that you’ve made the Crochet Hooded Cardigan multiple times so it was you that I thought about when making up this pattern. I’m happy you like it. Now you have another option
I really like your video. The instructions are very clear even for strangers (I'm french). There's just a hole in the tutorial : I looked at it from the begining to the end twice but I don't see the instructions for the border of the bottom of the cardigan. I hope I'm going to succeed to do it without instructions. I thank you very much because you articulate very well and speak slowly which is very important for strangers. Bye-bye ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for having all the measurement in your video and a very clear video❤❤❤❤❤ already have a yarn to start but I will repeat watching the video to get it into my system😂 And thank you for doing extra lenght instruction for button holes I really appreciate it❤❤❤❤ I finished my back panel I finished both front and arms now I am going for ribbing 😊 Almost finish😂 crochet pocket now and I am running out of yarn😂😂😂😂😂 27th Oct finished the Cardigan and I love it so much. Thank you very much for the pattern ❤❤❤❤❤
NEED HELP 😮 Im sewing my front panels to the back. The shoulder part. I stopped 2 inches before the ribbing. All good till I'm sewing the other shoulder and both panels reached eachother? I seen on yours there is a couple inch gap between each panel on the neck line. So there's no stitches left for the neck. I'm trying to get this done by tomorrow. I made matching leg cuffs and messy beanie. Just need to put the sweater together ❤️
@@TerriFoster-r4x you may have to do that as you do need a slight space between your front panels, I’m afraid it’s going to loosen up on your cardi though
what a lovely cardigan, I have 2 questions is the first row after foundation row considered the right side of work? and when you seamed the pieces together is it it done with the right sides together? thank you
Yes, R2 is right side but, For the stitch pattern I used for the panels, it’s completely reversible so you can choose Right side and Wrong side. I generally do seam right sides facing in
Hi, there is Arabic subtitles on this video. If you’re not sure how to get it on watch this video ruclips.net/video/Lq1B8LLQZEM/видео.htmlsi=QH4h7PuapwoQ98ip It’s in English but I’m certain you will be able to understand the actions
I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I am following your directions on the video exactly as you demonstrate. I either come up 2 short (88) or 2 too many. 😢 I am also doing the 90 stitches just as you.
Are you counting ch2 at the start of the Round as a stitch because I do and also make certain that you work your last stitch into the 2nd chain from that same ch2 at the end of the Round - I’m not sure where exactly you are either picking up or loosing stitches, I’m only guessing here what could possibly be the problem- Also it’s easy to miss a stitch after the Round with the 3dc worked together and ch2’s - make sure to count your dc’s in the following Round and you can adjust your stitch count so that your stitch count always remains the same.
I don’t seem to be able to get this. This is the only pattern I’ve ever had a problem with.. I wish you could hold the work still at the end of each round so I could see exactly what it’s supposed to look like. This would be helpful. I am counting the chain 2 at the beginning as a stitch then it all goes wrong
@ okay, let’s take this step by step. Let me know what your foundation Round stitch count is, then work R2 and R3, when you work R4, count your stitches and tell me what your stitch count is… I’ll try to help this way if you want
I am planning to do the 90 sts like you. For now I am trying just to get my count right on row 2. I wish it were possible to send you pictures in these comments but I can't. I AM following you exactly after row 1. I have 18 foundation sts, then the chain 2 and turn. I can't get the first stitch right I watch your video bsi closely to see where that first DC goes. Then I continue on with the skip 2 and 3 DC and so on. I still get only 16. From your video I can see you have 4 groups of 3 dc and then the final 2 dc. When I do the 4 groups of 3dc I get 16 sts. This is maddening. I took pictures but I can't send them

@@TerriFoster-r4x I’m not sure why this happened - when seaming did you perhaps stretch on the panel?
@JKDHandmade I have no idea what happened. I sewed stitch per stitch. Should I make the back panel bigger by an inch or 2 more?

Can you tell me how many yards this piece is? I don't know how to compute grams.
I think it’s 284 yards. I’m really not sure - I don’t understand yards - I had to google it🙆🏽♀️
@@JKDHandmade I am pretty sure that is incorrect.
@@JKDHandmadeIt comes out to around 30oz so yardage total will depend on how many yards are in each skein.
@@mariagonzalezcontreras5617usually the label on the yarn you choose will tell you the grams, in addition yardage.
