Great breakdown Chase. Ravens fans know that Lamar is not perfect, he has room to improve, and THAT is why we love him so much and what makes him so special. With his gifts, he could never learn anything new and still be a top 10 QB every year until his athleticism starts to go. He’s not that guy at all, he’s a dawg who loves to play the game and isn’t afraid to do new things to improve and most importantly, anything to win.

His skin is to dark for some peoples liking. But come on people its 2023 and we are still using that same Ole playbook from years past. Everybody is different. We are not the same. We are from different cultures and different backgrounds. Learn to open up your eyes and except different people. Its okay. I dont care what color you are as long as you can play the game. One of the most fascinating things to see, is how they set up a play that everybody knows, the defense knows what’s coming, the defense attacks to play and normally it would just break down the play, and the quarterback would get sacked or throw it away, but then Lamar makes a move and it’s now a new play with new reeds and a new look and he just goes running around, searching for a play and his receivers are all running around looking for an opening, and the defense just doesn’t know what to do.
Watch this game in the Miami game and look how many times defenders have their hands up in the air like what the hell just happened or who just lost coverage on their guy. I don’t know what to make of it.

Cause MVP doesn’t necessarily mean best stats for example Mostert has the same amount of touchdowns (18) and ~700 less total yards than CMC on 200 less snaps but he’s not gonna be considered for MVP because he’s been great but at no point is he truly dominating the game Lamar has looked dominant every game the numbers don’t necessarily show the context of his play he has less TDs cause Edwards is automatic within the 10 so there’s no need to call passing plays on top of that the Ravens have had one of if not the hardest schedule in the league that being said tho CMC is MVP to me but if the Award goes QB it’s Lamar

Every teams starting QB is typically the MVP of their team based on the position. MVP needs to go away and just have the best QB , WR , OL , Pass Rusher etc for every position/group. And MVP is it a regular season reward or a whole season reward? Can an MVP be on a non playoff team? Also QBs alone dont win or lose games. They can me more influential regarding that but wins and loses are not a QB stat alone, its a team stat, its a team game. you can’t exclude Lamar’s rushing stats. in my opinion the only case against lamar, stat wise, is the lack of TDs. The ravens RBs got 10+ rushing tds from less that 3yds. totals - 4,100+yds 24 tds, and 9 turnovers + game defining throws, runs, and plays. Plus, no other MVP candidate, especially quarterbacks, have less weapons. Think about the weapons for Purdy, Dak, Tua, Josh, herbert, Goff, Stafford, Lawrence, flacco. Their weapons blow lamar’s out of water.

The ravens have 19 rushing TDs with out Lamar , Gus has 12. Cowboys have a total of 11 rushing TDs with 2 going to Dak and 2 to Ceedee and 1 to Turpin. Pollard has a total of 5 rushing TDs.

Pollard is better than every healthy ravens running back. Andrew’s hurt. Dak totals - 4,129yds, 32tds, 7 turnovers. Lamar - 4,143yds, 24tds, 9 turnovers. only difference stat wise are TDs. which you explained, gus edward who isn’t even top 25 in rushing yards has 12rushing tds(top5 in nfl), 10 from inside 3 yds. Why rush your quarterback from the 1 when you have a 240 bound running back who always falls in the end zone? you can’t say lamar stats are not mvp worthy if you argue that Dak’s stats are.

How is Lamar Jackson the best QB /MVP when other players have better stats? Is it cuz the RAVENS have the best record? I dont think Lamar picked Purdy off 4 times , Lamar is an amazing athlete, He is a good QB but not a great QB.

It's about how valuable you you are to the team MVP (most valuable player) without Lamar we're an average team his game speaks for itself and if they are the #1 seed and have the best record they have no choice but to give him that MVP

Wasn’t the play right before this a pass where Lamar threw the ball 3 ft behind a wide open receiver? Why are you saying Lamar is accurate. Maybe by Lamar standards, he’s definitely not by NFL standards. Come on man. Chase, keep it real. Lamar is doing fantastic for his team, but please don’t change the definition of a word like “accurate” to describe a guy who misses wide open receivers 3-6 times per game as accurate.
The game plan for Jimmy G by the Chiefs was to let Jimmy Garoppolo throw. That’s the same game plan teams employ for the Ravens. Lamar as a pure pocket passer will miss receivers all game long, throw interceptions and lose if not permitted to scramble. So NO Lamar Jackson is not by any real definition of the word “accurate”

No one cares whether u think he's accurate or not... He took apart arguably the league's best defense...your pointless pushback doesn't make what he's doing less effective... U seem really pressed by this breakdown...

at this point with stats, completion percentage to back up the claim of Lamar being more accurate people like you just expose your self with these comments?? Provide some facts to support what you say? "Lamar is a horrible QB that misses wide open recceivers 3-6 time a game"?? smh. So any QB that misses 3 to 6 passes a game is inaccurate?? LOL You all are hilarious!!!
