Hey everyone :D So with many others I got New Horizons recently, and I am enjoying it very much. When I first got the museum, I adored it's overall vibe and the music, I then went and started this remix right after lol. Although I love the simplicity of the melody, I thought it would be fun to add different flavors to each version, while still sticking to their overall tone (also getting to record some real acoustic and ocarina playing haha). Thus created a 4 part version of what is a very simple but relaxing piece. :)
Hope you like the footage of me and my friend Matt enjoying the museum as well lol. Special thanks to him (and his sparkly outfit) for filming the video shots. Also I know the museum isn't very filled as I'm early in the game, sorry to those in the future haha. Anyway thanks for listening guys, stay safe in these times.

holy fun story: when i first got the museum I walked around it and was amazed at how beautiful it looks but i didnt have my headphones on. day 2 of having it I did have them on and the first thought that went through my head was "if only AJ remixed this". Thanks for the great remix :D

The first version sounds like something you'd hear in a Pixar movie, during a scene where the main character reflects on their life, all the good and bad things coming back to them before they pass on.
This is beyond gorgeous.
Spine chilling, but also heart warming.
Each department sounds exactly how I'd imagine them sounding if there was a new Animal Crossing film or show.
Will you ever do a short arrangement of the Art section too?
I feel like the museum is under appreciated; clearly so much love and care went into the designs, the atmosphere, and the score. The layout of the museum is so fun and the exhibits are breathtaking when you take the time to flesh them out. Let’s also take a moment to appreciate the amount of effort they put into making the insects, fish, and fossils as gorgeous and realistic as possible. I’m usually very picky about fossils and dinosaurs in video games, but they did a phenomenal job with the accuracy (for the most part) and I’m really glad for it.
This is such a beautiful remaster and I’m dying to hear more ^^
