Even though it may sound cheesy, you can't deny that at times it puts a smile on your face😃 It may never happen again, but listening to music like this at somewhat 100db where you can feel the bass in your chest and those synth lines cause shivers through your entire body as the MDMA kicks in, it was like God had ripped you from the grips of time and launched you into heaven itself. Great time to be alive. Even though I'm in lockdown with nowhere to physically go, I still have those memories 😃
@@DjCotts Yes! I almost feel guilty that my main source for Happy HC back then was the Happy2bHardcore series from Anabolic Frolic under Moonshine records. It was a darker time, before RUclips and streaming.
You’ve introduced me, a 20 year old American guy, to Happy Hardcore last year. Cant believe I had never heard this type of music! I love how dedicated and talented you and Ravine are! Please don’t stop uploading!
I always felt sorry for americans not having this music. There's so many amazing genres out there: happy hard, uk hard, aussie hard, j-core, french-core, nightcore, hardstyle, rawstyle, freeform, gabber, you've also got the likes of dj s3rl who is basically a genre all by himself, also HTID and Xtreme HTID are basically their own genre too
Another amazing mix. Glad you could bring us along for the journey once again. As I always say, it's nice to have the newest tracks, but you can never forget the great one either. "Best and newest" is how I roll.
...Back to Bonkers... Happy Hardcore was post Dead in ´00 but then came the Bonkers Boiz Hixxy, Sharkey & the Spanish Makina Boiz and put Happy Rave to a Higher & Epic Next Level Bonkers ´96 -´09 Makina ´99 - ´06

This is uk hardcore, not happyhardcore. Do a vinyl set from 95-97 when is was decent. Twisted vinyl, evolution records, screwdriver records, proper labels with banging tunes.
I can't wait for the next hardcore rave after the lockdown. There is a sense of community in a rave. It one big family. If you have never been or experienced it you have no clue what I'm going on about. 2020 has tested us all young and old and it's only just beginning hard times await us. Young and old. Stay safe people. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Xx
Aww man.. the memories of the parties i used to go to.. Time to get back into raving. Need to bring back the underground parties.. where the cops would shut us down... and we would go find another spot to party.. lol fucking phila hated us.. every weekend they were looking for us.. abandon buildings.. churches.. like gods basement.. those were the times.
Wauw! i can remember watchin' those gyus playing with their vinyl! fantastic mix! ( and yes, i am over 40, and a real id%t fan. not the typical gabber, but enyoing the beat on the side)
They still sound too much like modern HH. Need to go back further, starting at Fat Controller in complete darkness, through slipmatts remix of higher love (his early mix in 94 not the later one) and in to some of brisks early stuff, like eye opener and insomniak. Basically, best happy hardcore was before force and styles became big.
I would respectfully disagree. While the 93-97 hardcore was very influential and laid the groundwork, I think the 2002-2008(ish) (AKA midskool era) was the most diverse and well-produced happy hardcore. The biggest labels (NG/BB, Essential Platinum, Evolution, Raverbaby, and the Nu Energy Collective) all had a very distinct sound that all seemed to work in the broader genre. I love spinning the midskool era tunes more than any other.
@@randomeffekt5013 I agree with you. I did miss the 90's era, but I'm going to have fun digging through some of the really old stuff. Between the years you mentioned were the best imo, so much diversity.

Hey David, thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it! I do love the cheese though, I got into rave around 2001 so this is the era that I love. I'll be going back further though at some point soon. I have some old hard trance mixes on the channel, but not hard techno. Hmm maybe I should do one soon. Cheers :)
Even though it may sound cheesy, you can't deny that at times it puts a smile on your face😃
It may never happen again, but listening to music like this at somewhat 100db where you can feel the bass in your chest and those synth lines cause shivers through your entire body as the MDMA kicks in, it was like God had ripped you from the grips of time and launched you into heaven itself. Great time to be alive.
Even though I'm in lockdown with nowhere to physically go, I still have those memories 😃
High school and college years all over again, musically speaking. Recognized a few artists in this track list. 😁🎶
Cheers squish3r, same for me here. Scott Brown killed it during those years.
@@DjCotts Yes! I almost feel guilty that my main source for Happy HC back then was the Happy2bHardcore series from Anabolic Frolic under Moonshine records. It was a darker time, before RUclips and streaming.
Ładnie idzie zapraszam do mnie klubowe nuty
ZASUBSKRYBUJ CODZIENNIE NOWOŚCI :)

BONKERS 1,2,3 WOW :-) GOOD TUNES MAN :-)
Love bringing back the bonkers days.
Frisky and Hujib, Belive (Breeze and Styles remix), what a fucking legend of a track
Yes, everything Breeze and Styles touched turned to gold during the mid 2000's. Believe is a huge tune. :)
@@DjCotts you should do a Breeze and Styles mix, there's so many huge tunes they done, would be a proper bit of nostalgia 🕺🙂
sick thanks man !!!
@DjCotts, hey please do electric fox mix
Hey Shon, it's a bit out of my wheelhouse, but I'll certainly showcase some of the electric fox hardcore at some point.
Bro keep em comin! Bangin tunes dem rude boi funny as f watching you raving out! Hope your neighbours downstairs were out!!

On the ones and two's you know the score hardcore....!
Cheers :D really appreciate it
You’ve introduced me, a 20 year old American guy, to Happy Hardcore last year. Cant believe I had never heard this type of music! I love how dedicated and talented you and Ravine are! Please don’t stop uploading!
I always felt sorry for americans not having this music. There's so many amazing genres out there: happy hard, uk hard, aussie hard, j-core, french-core, nightcore, hardstyle, rawstyle, freeform, gabber, you've also got the likes of dj s3rl who is basically a genre all by himself, also HTID and Xtreme HTID are basically their own genre too
Search bonkers compilation, & happy hardcore from Jimmy j & cru lt & enjoy
@@djfilta8157 damn bro 13yrs and I hadn't even heard of them. Hard-core has such incredible depth to it. Amazing thank you
David Orr Yeah I discovered Gabber as well lol The shits mad! Wish I could have gone to a thunderdome back in the day!
djfilta 81 Thanks man Ill check them out!
love this guy. #nohomo. not that there is anything wrong with that. :)
Ey David, Love to too man! :D
Not exactly happy hardcore though; this is predominantly UK hardcore as was rebranded circa 2001-2002.
Well played sir!!! Yes yes from the UK 🇬🇧
Eyy ant, thanks so much! Cheers from Australia.
big ups dj cotts
Hello dj.coxx. i love you're style man you a a real hardcore magithion. And i wish i could be you're hardcore disciple.love you man.😊
AMAZING WORK! YOU TRAVEL ME TO HEAVEN MAN DJCOTTS! KEEP IT UP! FULL SUPPORT FROM GREECE!
Another amazing mix. Glad you could bring us along for the journey once again.
As I always say, it's nice to have the newest tracks, but you can never forget the great one either. "Best and newest" is how I roll.
Thanks so much Awal, keep up the super snagging!
AWal how's you doing bit like the Wearhouse in Donny
Check this all best to you and your bro .
Nicely done 👍
...Back to Bonkers...
Happy Hardcore was post Dead in ´00 but then came the Bonkers Boiz Hixxy, Sharkey & the Spanish Makina Boiz and put Happy Rave to a Higher & Epic Next Level
Bonkers ´96 -´09
Makina ´99 - ´06
Carl Cox you are my one favourite person you are like the merlin of hardcore .you are great please don't stop..making magic.love you man maybe you should be known as the master of hardcore always love you man and in a disipal.😊
I love your mixes! I am so happy that you are still uploading on RUclips.
Fuck, I remember going to raves every weekend. 7 pm until 7 am. Crushing it on the dance floor! Best mixes to dance to was happy hardcore! eye opener, U R My Phantasy, You're my angel, Elysium, so many good tracks!! Love your music man. Keep it up!
This is uk hardcore, not happyhardcore. Do a vinyl set from 95-97 when is was decent. Twisted vinyl, evolution records, screwdriver records, proper labels with banging tunes.
Godlike stuff man thanks
Cheers D-tor, really appreciate it man.
You have great minerals where u r from very energetic performance lol 😂
Nice mixing matee
Nice set up too
Cool 90s
Now with Digital equipment you can now mix this headset free.
Very true. I love not being able to see the wavforms though, it makes you pay attention.
@@DjCotts Very True..
2 or 3 as too late for me I prefer pre 95, fungos I'm old
Yeah I'm going back trying to source 90's vinyl now to play the real classic era.
Xx
Krezip hahahaha half an hour in. Go Jacqueline! ps. listening since 2007 on and off. But still putting a smile on my face! Thnx Cotts (and Ravine)
Aww man.. the memories of the parties i used to go to..
What I learned from this: Breeze and Styles do some bomb ass remixes
mduffrules, oh yeah. Everything they touched turned to gold.
OMG... I just found an oldie I have never been able to find hidden in this amazing mix...
Thank you...
P.L.U.R :) Keep up the great beats :)
Will do Jonathan, cheers for watching :)
That transition from Turn Up The Music (makes me watery-eyed from euphoria, that one does!) to Freedom was silky smooth lol.
This!!! So many familiar tunes from the happy2bhardcore series. Started listening to these beats in 99. Never gotten old even if we do
Perfectly selected and mixed to perfection 😆 pure htid selection! Really enjoyed this mix 👏 I will be running to it wile on lockdown
Glad I found this channel dude 👍 many memories from back in the day. Keep the rave alive 💚👌👏👏👏
Love your energy. The fast mixing. The TUNES! thanks man takes me back.
Who the hell is down voting this!! This is an incredible mix and and incredible track list!!
This is fairly new stuff well most of it play some 90s german hard trance or some 90s stuff 👌👌 good mixing though man
Oh man this brings back some brilliant memories. I'm toying with the idea of buying some DDJs and these choons are genuinely swaying me.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll be doing a 90's mix soon and really going back to the early incarnations of the genre.
@@randomeffekt5013 I agree with you. I did miss the 90's era, but I'm going to have fun digging through some of the really old stuff. Between the years you mentioned were the best imo, so much diversity.
Nowhere near what Happy Hardcore used to sound like. Happy Hardcore stopped being Happy Hardcore long before these tunes
Cotts. What a dude. Bangin yet again.
Cheers Colin, more bangers to come soon!
I believe in you cottsie!
Bagleys kings cross , the sanctuary, Shepton mallet Hardcore till I die .
