The A-Speedster can take down just about any tier 5 or 6 ship, if the right approach is used when attacking. Although it is the fastest tier 6 ship, it still suffers from "slower than a fleeing noob syndrome." (But all tier 5 and 6 ships are big and slow, so this isn't really a downside)
