@@Soopy exactly. i have now inside a GPU that will love those games. aside GTA because it needs win10. On win10 machines i test cards with dx10 at least.
At the end, that is how mine sounds. Xfx , in their infinite wisdom, set the fan profile to 100% always. It only goes slower if i change the fan profile 😅
@@DanielCardei That's a good idea. I am comfortable doing the work, but sadly I no longer own a soldering/de-soldering station since I moved house. I have lots of GPUs in storage which need repairs, also.

Разница в производительности версии AGP и PCI Express порядка 10% - 15% в пользу последней. И да, раньше всё таки разница между поколениями видеокарт была значительно больше чем сейчас. Раньше переход между GTX 6800 Ultra AGP на GTX 7900 составлял разницу в мощности примерно 50% - 70%
вы правы, раньше скачки производительности между поколениями были гораздо более драматичными. Обновление GTX 6800 Ultra AGP до GTX 7900 действительно дало огромный прирост мощности! Сегодня скачок измеряется в ваттах, а не в FPS.

i knew it will be rare and hard to find it in the future. i wanted to get other cards too and do have a lot of regrets.

If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, consider taking it to a professional for repair. Send another card first to see if they can repair GPUs.

Older parts do better with older operating systems, and the drivers were meant for old os' too not modern ones
