Not recommended for noobs for sure. If the drive doesn't boot then what? What if partitioning fails? Better to have a separate physical drive. You can get a 128GB SSD or USB flash drive for $20. Could even connect the SSD to the computer via USB and keep it in a drawer til you need it again.
You are right but in India most people do not buy an extra hard disk drive earlier till they get into some trouble. Moreover, I have seen that many of the so-called engineers format the only available C Drive without even first troubleshooting or asking the customers if they have any important data on the only drive. BTW, there is no such term like Noob for computer operators. Either they know what they are doing, or they don't. It's not Free Fire my friend that you have a second chance to follow along with little knowledge.
