To those who may be following this series, please note that there seems to be an issue with the episode listings; Episode 2 is apparently meant to be Episode 3, which can be quite confusing. Furthermore, the subtitles are out of sync and don't align with the plot. They seem to have used the subtitles from Episode 2 for Episode 3 and vice versa, so exercise caution when watching. Please disregard this if the issue I mentioned has been resolved since I made this comment. This is just my personal complaint about this donghua and that is the MC's blue eyes. There's only one blue-eyed MC I support, and that's Tang San. The presence of blue eyes in this series made it somewhat challenging for me to watch lol. Hopefully overtime, I will get "use" to them and not think he's Tang San lol.
The pacing feels of, like mc getting sucked into a cave after falling from the sky and no one safe him somehow, and after that his parents somehow in the sect grounds, the last one is at the end of 3rd episode where his parents attend the sect tournament (why mortal get invited bruh)

It feels like there are missing dialogues or scenes that have been cut. When I watched it, I went from episode 1 to what I assume is episode 2, and I was incredibly confused. He fell, and then suddenly he was wearing a yellow outfit, and then he was accepted as a disciple? So when I watched what I thought was episode 3, it was the part where he fell into a cave and found the pearl, or rather, the pearl found him, lol. I'm guessing his parents were invited because no one is truly "immortal" yet? So I suppose this is some kind of tournament where mortals can either attend or watch. Your guess is as good as mine.

It's unfortunate that the donghua adaptation began on such a note. It appears that it may lose favor with a significant number of its novel enthusiasts. What a shame, really.

I honestly prefer Chinese anime more the stories and character development is always phenomenal i just cant get with 3d animation its like watchin final fantasy cutscenes and calling it a show there is nothing appealing about it imo
@@blvdgreatness6513 I think maybe your brain has been conditioned to view certain types of 3d as "Game" visual and animation as inherently 2D (vis a vis anime) that forms a cognitive dissonance. Honestly, I wasn't too fond of 3d visuals at first but I acclimatized and I enjoy how flexible and expressive 3d animation can be. now whenever i watch anime i can literally feel the static-ness of each individual frame and that ruins the immersion for me.
