He will be much more aggressive with rest in the nba. My only concern is how 300lbs will affect those knees over a long nba season.
This is spot on. I'm a Purdue fan so I've watched him a lot. Purdue coached him specifically to reserve his energy and avoid fouls on defense, so you hardly ever saw him go all out. He definitely went all out in that champ game, I think he just didn't want to leave anything on the table. He was an absolute monster the first 15 minutes or so. But he kinda gassed himself. If he's not the sole focus and is not playing the entire game, you will see another side of him defensively for sure.

When he first arrived on campus, the guys thought he couldn’t play at their level- and they were right. He wasn’t ready. But he just listened to the coaching without an ego and wanted to improve day in and day out. By the time he left, he was the greatest college player in a generation. And he’s only played organized ball for 7 seasons, he still has plenty of room to improve! Best of luck, you guys got a steal at #9!!!!
100% Edey is a NBA ready prospect and Memphis will be a playoff team next year. Still 2 depth picks in round 2, Ja should be fully recovered from his surgery. This are looking up again in Memphis.

I think the Purdue system and eith what he was asked to do didn't show his full ability in space. He has real potential to be able to be manageable in space but at 7'4 what can you really expect out on the perimeter? Wembanyama isn't the standard but the outlier.
