    About Artist:
    I'm an experimental contemporary artist from Slovenia.
    I like to experiment with different fluid art techniques and materials and follow the natural paint flow with all its unpredictability.
    The biggest inspiration for my art is Nature, so I try to pour those colour combinations energy and beauty on canvas.
    In my early ages I painted with a brushes and chalks, but I always felt limited in those art forms. But all that changed in the year 2018, when I discovered Fluid art. I was able to let my imagination run wild and pour it out on the canvas. I have finally found my place in art that perfects and makes me happy. And what could be nicer than sharing this with others through my artwork. Because of this, I also decided to share my artistic path on youtube, where I am happy to share my passion and knowledge with more than a quarter of a million people from all over the world.
    Join me on my Fluid art journey!

    WOW!!! Been watching you for a long time, and as far as I can tell and see you are the master, the paint whisperer if you will, against all other pouring Artists online! You’re absolutely incredible! And the part you showed about testing paints against catalysts was a game changer for me!! Never even thought of it. But again WOW, you’re amazing and I thank you so very much for you’re teaching skills as well as your paint skills!! I don’t think a top chemist could reckon with you!! It is so obvious you just feel the paint, and it is a beautiful mixture!!!!

    Sorry that you caught Covid but hope you feel better soon. Rest and fluids are the secret. I’ve had it twice, even though I have had 5 shots!
    Question:
    Have not heard “binding medium” before. And “catalyst” is a new word. What do they mean?
    Where do flotrol, interior latex go?
    This is more confusing for someone who is just trying to start.
    Thank you

    ❤ Hello dear Fiona, we are terribly sorry to hear that you came down with COVID! Wishing you a quick recovery and sending many thanks for the refresher on the paint mixing. One question...is there a different binder that would work in the medium besides Amsterdam? Just curious about other, less expensive products here in the US.
    Be kind to yourself and take good care, we love you and your work. Have learned SO much!

  • @JaneSolose
    @JaneSolose 10 месяцев назад

    Thanks for sharing, Fiona! I hope you feel better soon. I've tried the combination of glue and Amsterdam binder before, but added Floetrol instead of water to the pouring medium. I always thought adding too much water would make my flowers wonky. I'll have to try your recipe! Is there a difference between using Elmer's school glue and Glue-All? I can always tell the difference in the outcome whether you use your original Slovenia recipe or use glue. The outcome with glue as you did today is gorgeous, but the lacing you achieve with your original recipe is exceptional! Glue seems to create a crackled look. It's just a different outcome, but still beautiful. I do love how the flower seems to grow and "blossom" once you lift the napkin! Thanks again for the reveal, and for all the testing you did with U.S. products! Take care of yourself.🌺🌸💐🏵🌼

    • @Fiona-Art
      @Fiona-Art  10 месяцев назад +3

      Thank you. It's definitely different with my pouring medium and still like it the most. With glue all I didn't get as much lacing, that's why I decided to use School glue.

    Hi Fiona, I'm a follower of yours, although I don't speak English, only Spanish, but I see your translated videos, I have a question... I didn't quite understand the difference between catalyst and just paint, I got lost in the preparation when you put Amsterdam agglutinate on everything and Elmers school glue I saw the amounts and everything is fine so far, I thought that all the paints are prepared the same and then... how do they come out in catalyst? .. sorry I took your time, I hope you're better, I just got out of the covid and I know what that is, I lost my sense of smell... no way, I just hope you're better.. thank you..😍❤👍
