Hey there - I seriously am looking into getting this thing, as I'm also an acoustic fingerstyle player. Just one thing that's holding me back - I don't see any blend knob to create mixing the channels however you want. Do you just use the gain controls to make up for that? How does the blending work?
The clean channel works excellent for acoustic instruments, but you may not have a lot of use for drive when using acoustic instruments. There isn't an option to use an external microphone to feed one of the channels on the MB3 either, as it is on the Stanley Clarke preamp, so you can only connect a guitar with a built-in pickup system.
fantastic sound and beautiful playing
Great playing and review on this awesome preamp

Correct. The individual Gain knobs set the levels for the mix.
Any idea if EBS Micro Bass 3 also works with acoustic guitar?
