My son-in-law came here from India 15 years ago and his brother who also speaks English and is well educated, applied to immigrate here 5 years ago yet he still has another 5 years before he'll be allowed to move to the USA. It is so unfair.
I think the visa process is much longer if they were not married in the US, not living in US, and apply for a spousal visa/work visa/family visa while living in their own country. I have a friend who married an Indian guy in the US and he got a 2 year greencard pretty fast, he was already working in the US as well so it depends.

He basically just walked around the fence and his family member that was here already came and just picked him up. He already got his drivers license and his kids are attending public schools.

I have a small construction business and this last year I have seen a huge flood of Spanish speaking non licensed contractors competing with me. It's really starting to hurt my business. When I see millions more coming, it's terrifying to me.
We just had an illegal alien here in Florida busted for working without a contractor license and insurance or driver's license or car insurance. Then then nailed him with human trafficking his illegal alien workers.
Put him in jail and border patrol came and took him. They turned around and let him go because he was the only means of support for his illegal family.

Excellent video. Helped me understanding the politics and process at the border. This is a very frustrating and sad situation.
I always found the best food in the worst places. The "bad" communities are where you find good people.
The biggest takeaway is that social security for retirees isn't enough for a comfortable living. People that worked for 50-60 years paying taxes into the system. But there's money to replace us. There is a devious plan in motion.
The typical migrant goes through 3 generations before their offspring contributes much in taxes. Most of them will receive almost
nothing from Social Security but immigration is supposed to pay your social security - it's a pay-as-you-go system so the money you have contributed has already been paid out as benefits. Yet, the poor people are expected to pay our future Social Security benefits.

@fordfreeman2248 SS benefits won't dissappear because trillions of dollars are collected for FICA. But, the monthly benefit might be reduced for some, or all recipients. Or the FICA tax will be increased. Or they will use general federal tax revenue to make up the shortfall - which could be inflationary. Annual income over $160,000 isn't taxed with FICA - that limit could be removed while limiting the maximum benefit - that will lead to lawsuits.
My dad paid in full amount for 40 years and just recently starting to collect his SS benefits...it is not at all what he expected...this man plans every penny out in his life over n over again...SS is not going to support anyone...you have to have something extra income on the side...but be prepared to pay taxes on it also.

My unit did a few weeks tour at the border, our conex got broken into when it came off the ship, a week later we were finding military Hmmwv tires for sale at the local swap meet market, not to mention T-shirts with our state logo walking around too lmao. Same thing happened to us in Iraq. Our conex truck broke down on the convoy to Baghdad and we couldn't retrieve it till the next day, we found it open and ransacked and weeks later we went into Fallujah for supplies and saw a few people with Welcome to R.I. T-shirts, a couple college logo shirts and our state capitol building lol

I was angrily chastised by a [former] friend for referring to the guy standing outside my door at 4:15 a.m. as an illegal. I live on an isolated farm north of the border. He lives in a gated community in Boca Raton, FL.

Also, I would be breaking the law if I were to provide transportation to illegals. I’m not criticizing your comment at all - I’m just sharing the reality as I experienced it and understand it.

@@Dee_nyce That would only make sense if they were offering citizenship if you served in the military. That has not happened thus far. In the American military, people who can't even speak English aren't going to be much use to you. The real reason is just cheap labor, plain and simple.

Born and raised Texan here (El Paso) - The military won't do anything with the people in charge right now. This is why Texas is taking it into it's own hands. Yes, we still have our own military here. If we can't depend on our Country's Government to help us.. we will use our State. It's nearly war at this point. It's an invasion!
When the President wants all them here, that will obviously never happen. I've been personally watching this for three years. We have at minimum 5-8 million new migrants in this country bc of the inept administration. Annnd....there is no end in sight.

On one of our job sites in Texas, an immigrant walked right up to an equipment operator and pulled a knife on him. Put it to his back and walked him to his truck. The operator was able to draw his firearm and unfortunately the immigrant lost his life. Two weeks prior on another job site an operator was robbed and nearly fatally stabbed.
