- We're back again with another episode of South Beach Classics with Ted Vernon! He's checking out the weekly car show at Daytona Beach and hustling for two Chevelles and a Camaro.
Ted Vernon is a master at negotiation and proves that he knows how to secure a good deal after 40 years of experience in the car business!
No trip to Florida would be complete without a trip to Biketoberfest, where Ted gets to ride with an all-female biker group, Stilettos on Steel. Ted was loving his ride on his Indian Motorcycle, as long as he followed the rule... stay at the back!

These are obviously older episodes, as today with proper documentation both of those Chevelle's are worth an assload of cash!, alot more than what is laid out here👍

There is no way in hell that motor makes 1000 hp without forced induction , it’s a 400 hp engine all day

Buying a car is mostly an aspirational, rather than a logical, exercise. While many may WANT a new car, often times we don't NEED a new car. Also, we sometimes talk ourselves into getting rid of our car when some minimal-to-mid expense repairs could prolong its life. When we look to purchase, often the latest-and-greatest-fully-optioned (leased) high-end model is more desirable than the middle-of-the-road, but reliable and safe, people mover. I get that and have been guilty of this, as well.
There's something about buying a car that gets people to throw borrowed dollars at its purchase. Also, predator car sellers and loan companies don't help. At the end-of-the-day, it's up to the consumer to be knowledgeable and rational in their purchase. If one can only safely afford an economy car, than don't buy an expensive performance car ... at least until one's economic situation affords the opportunity to safely do so. This requires personal self-restraint. OK, I'll now get off of my soap box.

It's not an original 67 RS/Ss if it has 327 in it. Should be 350 or 396.

"1000hp" in that 69 Chevelle with an NA 427? Lmao ok pal. Unless it's got nitrous or a power adder I don't see it making more than max 700hp at the motor.
