I feel my pacemaker go off, the defibrillator part no. With my implantation someone knocked my right chest wall. It caused the right lung sack to fill up with blood so I could not breathe. Because of covid19, no doctor’s offices wanted to see me. Once I got into ER and they took an X-ray, they found my right lung almost filled up. After draining the blood, 2 liters, I could breath. Four days later while still in the hospital they drained off another 2 more liters. After five more days out of the hospital, I went back in and after a chest tube surgery, the doctors took out another 3 liters of blood and explored my chest wall to find out why. Nothing conclusive was found. I wish I had better news but after all of the hospital stay and blood loss, I’m exhausted all of the time. But the good news is I’m alive and healing. With my family if it could happen to 1/10 of all humans, that’s me and my dad. Another words, this happens but it’s rare. Good luck!

Does this mean that the CRT is continuously working 24 hrs...?.....And what if it stops working (for any reason ) ?
monitors 24 hours. only works when irregularities are present. I'm on my 3rd AICD for some 29+ years. You really can't tell when it's working.
