This Song took me down memory lane Sir, just like you I too had many many memories of Shillong. The Wind whispering among the pines, the intermittent drizzle , the sun playing hide and seek amongst the clouds truly "abode of the clouds", the serpentine roads, with pine trees lining the avenues, the misty air , the cool cool mountain air ,the beautiful Assam Type Wooden Floor Bungalows, the Chrysenthemums , the pine acorns on the road, rain steeped greenery al around makes me feel so at home , although a Guwahatian by birth and Indian by Proffession across the country. This Songs took me back to Rocky Mountain High by John Denver and Bengali Song Darjeeling by Anjan Dutta. A big Thank You Sir from the bottom of my heart and forever grateful for capturing the lost essence and memories of our childhood lost somewhere in the sands of Time. The amazing rustling sound of wind whistling past the beautiful pine trees the cool mountain air envelops you and the shiver you feel as you approach The Scotland of the East by road is so romantic,so divine the meandering tiny little brooks and streams ,the warm ,affectionate and hospitable mountain folks ,all get together together to celebrate Life!
